NYX!

"Huh!?" I suddenly woke up "What the...? What time is i- AH!!" I yelled as I looked over at the clock realizing I slept in "Nyx hurry and get down for breakfast! We're going to be late to drop you off today!" they're going to drop me off? THANK GOODNESS!!! "I'LL BE DOWN SOON!" I yelled. I looked around my room panicking, I didn't have time to fix my hair. I found what I could, I found a tank top, and black shorts. I kinda over grown the shorts a bit but at this point like I care. I quickly put socks and tennis shoes on and was about to go downstairs when I realized something "Wait how did I...?" how did wake up in my room? If I remember correctly I feel asleep on the couch, it was probably dad or mom who took me up. I then noticed a paper on my nightstand. I found it weird so I reached over, it was a note, from Nixon!

"Hey I came back for my phone, the door was unlocked so I let myself in, I'll lock it on my way out. No I didn't steal anything. I saw you asleep on the couch so I took you up to your room, if you don't mind. Anyway hope you slept well, see ya at school

I laughed at his dumb note "NYX!" I got startled. I got my backpack shoved the note in my pocket and ran downstairs. When I got their my parents just stared at me "Uh... I slept in... Hehe..." they got serious and said "No time hurry up and eat with us" I sat down and ate "By the way where's all the bread and eggs? I swear we just bought them" I remembered yesterday and chuckled.

My parents dropped me off and I started walking in, smelling my breath to see how bad it was. I then bumped into someone, it was Milo "!!!" we just stared at each other, it was so awkward "Miss Flaws." he said "Milo." then we just walked away from each other then "Wait" he grabbed my arm "Answer honestly" I looked over to him "What... What side are you on? The werewolves or meif'wa" I looked at him surprised "At this point I honestly don't care what breed you are, you are a really good friend and well..." him saying that caught me off guard, it honestly made no sense "You don't care what breed I am but you want to know what side I'm in..? I'm on no one's side, I just wanted to have friends this year, I honestly didn't know you and Zyon were leaders. But coincidentally you guys were and I got along with you guys and I was happy. But then... seeing how you guys won't get along just because what breed each of you are, trust me if you knew what breed I was you wouldn't of never even started speaking to me..." I realized what I said and immediately covered my mouth "... I'm sorry... I'm really sorry, so much has happened and... It's not your fault, I'm sorry Milo, I'll see you in class" Milo stared at me in disbelief. I just ran inside.

"At least you were honest."

I went through the day swiftly, no one bothered me. Of course I lied to Milo and skipped class, I skipped both werewolf and meif'wa class again. I went to the abandoned eating area again and laid on the grassy floor. It was calming. I took a deep breath and sighed. Man so far this school year was a mess, at least I can still have calm days like this, I thought to myself feeling relaxed "Somehow I knew you were going to be here" I looked over, it was of course Nixon "Skipping again?" He laughed "Duh obviously" I smiled. He sat next to me. We were calmly silent for awhile, then I broke the silence "Thank you" he looked over "For what?" I smile "You know, for getting me out of messes, showing me the clubs I wouldn't have the guts to go see on my own, and of course helping me out yesterday" he chuckled "Welcome, of course I won't do it for free, you owe me 2 offers" I sat up "Fair fair, what can I do??" He thought to himself "Well it's Friday hm... I got it" I looked at him confused "For the first offer" he suddenly crawled closer to my face which surprised me "Let me take you out tomorrow, a whole day of fun" I was surprised "Wait really??" that's freaking awesome "Sure, you said you never really went out with friends right..? So I thought why not? You can invite those freshman too if you want" this is awesome someone offering to take me somewhere, to hang out! To have fun! Outside of school! "Hello? Earth to Nyx?" I popped back to reality "So what do you say??" I nodded "Yes definitely! I imagine my parents won't mind" he smiled "Awesome, it's a date, I'll pick you up alright?" I nodded "Sure!" he smiled "Oh by the way..." he continued "What is it?" he looked at me up and down "That choice of clothing.... Suits you well..." he muttered something "What?" he looked away "Nothing!" covering his mouth "I just, I just thought your bed hair was funny" I got annoyed "I slept in alright!? I didn't have time this morning!" he laughed

The rest of the day was quiet and I went through the day smoothly. I look at the flash drive on my keys while making my way outside "All the pain and anger doesn't matter anymore, next week, I'll make things right, for everyone" when I got outside my parents were already waiting for me. They waved and so did I and got in the car and drove home
