The Date (Pt. 4)

We sat down and ate again since it was noon "How was it so far?" Nixon asked "It's been so much fun! First the beach, I've never been to the beach before, it's beautiful, and then all of this" he smiled "I'm glad you're having fun, because if you weren't i would've felt bad that i was the only one having fun" i smiled. We kept eating in a comforting silence when "Hey I'll go to the bathroom real quick ok?" I nodded "Sure, i might go soon too" he nodded and left.

I ate for a bit and finished my food, i threw away our empty trays and went to the restroom. After i did i came out, i spotted Nixon and i started running towards him "Nixo-!" Then i saw him talking to someone, a girl?? A human girl, with green hair. For some reason i decided to quickly hide. I focused my hearing towards their direction "It has been a while hasn't it?... why did you move schools?" Nixon answered with a cold tone "None of your business, leave me alone" he really needs to get over that habit of being mean to everyone. Nixon started walking away "Look I'm sorry!" She grabbed his hand in a panic. For some reason i felt knots in my stomach form "It doesn't matter, it was a long time ago, now let me go" she was being stubborn and kept holding on "What happened to us!? Why are you being cold! You were never like this with me, please just forgive me, let's start talking again" Nixon looked angry, i felt his energy, he felt betrayed, his hands forming into fists, shaking in anger. His expressions screamed unsaid words "You're not letting go hehe..." the girl laughed. I wanted to punch her "Let him go..." i whispered to myself "Don't touch him..." i was shaking in anger, my hair started standing up and my nails and fangs desperately wanted to come out. That girl was bad news. Nixon was angry, but then he sighed, almost in relief. His hands relaxed, and then he smiled, a evil smile. He yanked his hand away, then turned around towards the girl and laughed at her face. I was confused "You think i would care about you enough to stay mad at you for all these years? Listen carefully" he got close and said "Just like most people, you're a nobody to me, i moved on, you should too" she looked surprised and angry "Now stop wasting my time, i have a date to get back too" When he said that his smile became gentle and genuine "Haha yes! Stay away from him!" I was relieved and them i realised something "Wait... did he say date!?" I looked back and saw him walking away "Oh shot i have to go back" and i ran back

I quickly sat down and sighed in relief. Then i saw Nixon coming from around the corner "N-nixon! What took you so long?" Knowing what happened it was going to be hard to act normal "Got held up by something, don't worry it wasn't important" is that really how he talks about people? Jeez, i don't want to get on his bad side "You finished?" I nodded "Y-yeah!" He smiled, he looked relieved for some reason? "Then we should go try more stuff, what do you think?" I nodded "Yeah let's try some rides already!" He chuckled "Haha alright let's go" he stood up and took my hand once again.

For the rest of the day we tried the rides. Others were nice and smooth, but then Nixon told me those were beginner rides to get me used to it. Then the rest of the rides really sucked the life out of me, leaving me shaking. But Nixon would me after each one to calm me down, especially since each time i felt nauseous.

The sun started setting and we probably went to every ride in that theme park "Ugh..." i did feel kinda sick "Are you ok?" Nixon asked worried "I think i pushed myself too much..." he laughed, but he was mostly worried "Hey if you're up to it, let's go on one more ride" i looked up at him "Whyyyy?" He chuckled "Come on i promise it's not bad like the others" i sighed "Ok, can i get a bottle of water though before i get on?" He smiled "Sure I'll get you one" he got me a water bottle and i drank half of that thing while we were walking "Where are we going?" I asked "Are you feeling better?" He asked and i smiled "Yeah, now answer my question" he pointed up. I looked up and i was amazed "Woah a Ferris wheel!" It was very large and was covered in so many twinkling lights "So you up for it?" I furiously nodded "Alright let's go them" Believe it or not it was always a secret dream of mine to get on one. We quickly got there, we showed out bracelets and we got on
