Getting Ready (Pt. 2)

I walked out the gym and grab my bag which was next to the door. I felt really bad leaving Baltroy and the others. But then I shook myself out of it "They're right! I do deserve it!" In fact I didn't know if I would have time to get ready for the dance with all the planning. I was making my way out of the school when just before I made it out the doors. I noticed a familiar car in waiting where all the cars come to pick up kids. I saw a figure leaning next to the car passenger door. It looked like...!! "Nixon!" I yelled excited. I ran out the doors and ran up to him hugging him "Woah hey! Take me on a date first!" I laughed at his dumb joke. I then asked him "What are you doing here? Weren't you taking your sibling to the dentist??" He looked away saying "Hmm I might have lied...." I was a bit confused "Come on, get in" He starts walking over to the drivers seat "Ok..." And I went in.

Suddenly "SURPRISE!!" I heard yelling behind me "GAH!!" I yelled and turned around. Mom and Dad were in the back "Mom! Dad! Wait didn't you guys have full shifts today???" Mom looked away and said "Hmm we might have lied..." I just chuckled. Dad was smiling "We wanted to spend time with you and help you with picking out an outfit before your big dance... Hehe" Dad seemed nervous, then he just kept glaring at Nixon "Oh! you just came just to make Nixon miserable!" Mom said to Dad whacking him behind his head angry "Ow... Hmm...." Well he didn't deny it "I invited your parents and my whole family as well, if that's ok with you of course..." I smile "No I'm glad! I've been just so busy with school and being the Alpha and Sabre and-!!!" Suddenly I slapped my mouth shut "...WHAT!?" Mom and Dad said completely freaked out. Crap, I forget I didn't tell Mom and Dad yet. "Uh.... Let me explain..." So I had to tell them from beginning to end as we drove to wherever Nixon planned for us to go. It was a long ride I'll tell you that.

"And uhh.... That's how I became female Alpha and Sabre and I completely forgotten to tell you guys because of how hectic school became, i'm so sorry!!!" I looked down closing my eyes embracing for impact. But when I opened my eyes Mom and Dad were looking at each other, and just chuckled "Of course she has it in her, she's our daughter after all." I looked at Mom and Dad confused "Nothing, one day we'll tell you" I was still super confused and nodded. Suddenly Nixon said nervously "We're here.... Hehe" We were in downtown of our city "Woah!" It was so pretty. The shopping centers were amazing "Come on then! Let's get you dressed up WOOH!" Mom said excited, stepping out of the car, Nixon and I looked at each other and chuckled, stepping out too. Soon after Nixon parked and locked the door a car that looked SUPER fancy and SUPER expensive parked right next to us. I was a bit confused and worried for a bit until when the car parked and it was turned off, I saw familiar figures step out from the front of the car it was Nixon's parents!!! They both are dressed so formally, when the rest of us were dressed in a shirt and jeans "Oh hello! Nice to see you both again!" Mom said excited walking up to them "Likewise Mr. And Mrs. Flaws" Nixon's Mom said. Mom just chuckled and said "Oh let's just drop the formalities, our kids are dating after all. Kayla and Jonathan right???" His mom seemed surprised at first but then smiled at said "Yeah of course, sorry we just got off work and we're still in 'stuck-up' mode, Eva and Liam right?" The all seemed to get along. "Finally we're here!!! I can't stand being in here with Lilac for another second!!!" A figure stepped out from the back seat, I'm guessing Nixon's younger brother, seems like he's in middle school. He had a lot of hair, it covered his face a bit. It's black and extremely messy and looks fluffy. "That's my brother Chase, he's 13" then another figure came out "Yay! I get to finally meet Nixon's girlfriend!!" And a girl with beautiful long hair and adorable freckles, elementary it seemed like "And that's Lilac, the youngest, she's 6" I nodded. I walked up to them to introduce myself "It's nice to finally meet you guys, my name is Nyx" Chase rolled his eyes in annoyance and said "Don't care." ...rude. "Don't be mean Chase!" Lilac kicked his ankle "Ow! What was that for!?" Then she turned to me and smiled "Hello! I'm Lilac! That's Chase, and Nixon says your name in his sleep!" I was so surprised and I turned to Nixon "H-hey!" His face flushed into a pure red "... Do I..?" I started laughing "Wow. Amazing." he grunted and turned away "It's nice to meet you both, I hope we get along" Chase rolled his eyes once again "I'm going to the album store, have fun." And he started walking away "I'll come with you!" Lilac followed behind him, Nixon chuckled and I looked up to him "He might act all tough and a jerk but when it comes to Lilac, he becomes such a softy, look" I looked back at Chase, Lilac grabbed his hand and he held on to it, smiling at her "Awe, how cute" I smiled, his mom suddenly walked up to us and asked "Where did Chase and Lilac go?" Nixon responded "To the album store" she nodded. Mom then suddenly yelled "Let's go homecoming shopping already!! I can't wait to find you a pretty dress to wear Nyx!" I smiled, then Nixon's dad said "And I can't wait to find you a really nice suit to wear Nixon" we both laughed nervously, we had a feeling this was going to be a long trip
