He's a Halfling

"Nixon??" I called for him when my mom let go, he turned to me and got a bit nervous "Hey! Oh uh mom, dad. I want to introduce you to Nyx Flaws" his mom got excited "Oh wow you're a half breed! Amazing!" I smile, i turned to Nixon "So you're a halfling! We will talk more about that later" he chuckled "Yeah... sorry i didn't say anything sooner, i promise it slipped my mind" i chuckled "It's ok i promise" then his mom giggled and whispered something in his ear "H-hey mom!" His face became a bit pink, which made me curious as too what his mom told him "My name is Jonathan Marks, this is my wife Kayla Marks" he extended his hand and we shook hands and then same with his wife "We should all have dinner together sometime" said Nixon's dad towards my parents, my mom responded happy "Oh that would be wonderful" then my mom said "Oh i didn't introduce myself, my name is Eva Flaws and this is my husband Liam Flaws" they laugh a bit "Good to finally be able to meet you all, i would have wanted to meet you all sooner but for some reason our Nixon wanted to keep you all a secret from us" i turned to him kinda confused "Hey that's not true, you guys never asked" we all just gave him a look "What? It's true." his mom rolled her eyes, then his dad spoke "Well it seems like everything worked out in the end so let's put this all behind us and make our way home, shall we?" we all nod in agreement and make our way outside the building

Then our families went our separate ways, i turned behind me and Nixon was already looking my way, so i smiled and waved. He smiled brightly and yelled "See you tomorrow twin!" he went to his car while his parents went to another car and they drove off to the same direction. My mom gave me this funny look "What?" she chuckled "Twin??" i rolled my eyes laughing "Let's just get home, i'm hungry" and so we did

Today came out way better than i expected. But now i have a huge responsibility. I now have to co-lead 2 packs! It's going to be a real challenge, they're not going to accept me in their packs just like that. I have to earn their trust. Also i have a lot to learn. But i'll worry about all of that later. I'm just glad Zyon is ok and he can lead the pack in peace.

It's been about a month since my whole life changed. Since i now lead both packs the principal took this as an opportunity. So both packs were assigned to help prepare the homecoming dance this month, and guess who is supervising everything, yup, me "Alpha! How do i contribute?" a freshman werewolf asked me, breed: ethiopian wolf, which i call pipsqueak (it's all in the name) his real name is Sheldon White "Oh! Um... how about you help me put up posters of the homecoming dance the meif'was made, since not a lot of the werewolves want to help sponsor it" he's pretty adorable and was one of the first werewolves to accept me in Zyons pack "Roger!" he also isn't taken very seriously, like me "Alright, well here, have half of my stack since it's pretty heavy, do this half of the hall and i'll do the other" but all he really wants to prove that he can help, so i gave him that chance, and he's actually a really good helper "So when i finish what do i do next?" i responded him "Follow me and we'll do the same for all the hallways..." too many hallways!! At the moment it's a bit before the school day starts so every morning this whole week we'll be putting as many posters in the halls as we can until we cover the whole school with them, or most of it at least. Especially since so many were made, i literally have a wagon full of them. I want to use all of them "OK!" he yelled excited "Hey Alpha?" he asked "Yeah pipsqueak?" he then casually asked "Why haven't you chosen an omega yet?" the question surprised me "Oh, why do you ask??" he then said "I mean, don't you think i would be perfect as the omega" and i completely drop all the posters in surprise "W-what?? NO! I wouldn't do that to you, why would you ask to be omega??" I looked towards him "Well i mean i'm pretty small and weak and... yeah..." i came up to him and put my hand on his head ruffling it "Because i won't choose an omega, plus at some point if i do, it will have to be the choice of Zyon and I" he nodded "But-" i ruffled his head more "No buts, you're not weak, you are small, that's an undeniable fact, but you've been great help and really nice towards me, why would i repay you back like that?" He smiled "Pluuus i've been thinking of a potential werewolf that would be fit for the title..." he tilted his head "Don't worry about it, come on let's keep putting posters" i proceeded picking up the posters i dropped "Hey Alpha?" I looked at him "Thank you, you're the only one that had seen true potential in me" i smile "Anytime pipsqueak" then we continued putting posters
