blackpink was set to perform 'forever young' and 'ddu-du ddu-du' first so we were backstage getting ready. i, however, needed to use the restroom about 20 minutes before it officially started airing and we needed to perform. as we only got here about 10 minutes ago i was still in my sweater and shorts while walking to the ladies' restroom.

unexpectedly, i bumped into a tall certain someone.

"ah! mianhae!" we both said at the same time. i looked up as he looked down and we met eyes, and i came to realise that this was not just some random guy.

this male, standing in front of me at the very moment, is none other than my ex-boyfriend and member of boy group seventeen kim mingyu.

things got awkward extremely quickly. i nervously chuckled and bowed, speed walking away.

we ended not because we wanted to, but because management forced us to,
