Leap of 2 weeks:
It was a casual day. Naira was in office unaware of the new guest arrival. It was a very hectic day for her as she remained so buzy these days because of the new project which has been assigned to her.

Elsewhere in Goenka Villa:
Kartik's maternal Grandmother(Nani) has arrived in the mansion leaving everyone in shock.

Swarna(In a stammering tone): Maa, aap?
Nani: Kyun? Tumhe khushi nahi hui mujhe dekh kar?
Swarna: nahi...nahi...aap aise achanak aai hain toh isliye.

Going near her, she took blessings saying "Pehle bata diya hota toh main kisi ko bhejwa deti aapko lene k liye."

Nani: Main tum sabko surprise Dena chahti thi..isliye.

Nani is welcomed by all the members present in the house. Everyone is happy to see her. Dadi and Nani shared a warmly hug and they all sat in the living area for having some chit-chat session.

Dadi: Samdhan ji...aapka Safar kaisa raha aur achanak Kaise aana hua?
Nani: Safar toh acha hi tha bas aap sabhi ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi toh isliye aa gayi. Aur aap bataiye aapki tbiyat kaisi hai?
Dadi: Mujhe kya hoga. Main toh bilkul theek hun.
Nani: Aur baki sab kahan hain? Damad ji; Kittu?
Dadi: Sab abhi office gye hue hain.
Swarna: Maa aap kya lngi? Chai ya coffee ya aur kuch...
Nani: Mere liye Chai aur Nayi bahu kahan hai...dikh nahi rahi?

Swarna and Dadi are sharing look with each other listening about Naira.

Swarna(Fumbling with words): Woh thoda bahar gyi hai, kuch kaam se. Bas aati hi hogi.
Nani: Main toh usse specially milne k liye aayi hun. Kittu ki shaadi mein bhi nahi aa paayi thi main. Zara main bhi toh dekhun, aakhir aap logon se kisse pasand kiya hai mere Kittu k liye.

Till the time Nani was having Tea, Dadi indicates Swarna to call Naira and ask her to come home right now.

Swarna is calling Naira continuously but she is not picking it up as her phone is on silent mode and she is attending a meeting unaware of her Mother-in-law's call.

When she didn't get any respond..she gets tensed and she immediately called Kartik to inform about Naira's carelessness for not picking up the calls.

Kartik: Jee maa...
Swarna: Kar..Kartik..Naira mere phone Nahi utha rahi hai..main aadhe ghante se usse call kar rahi hun..Par uski laparwahi toh dekho, usne mere ek bhi call ka Jawab nahi diya.
Kartik: Relax maa. She must be in a meeting. Jab free hogi, aapko call kar legi. Waise hua kya hai? Aap kafi pareshaan lag rhe ho?
Swarna: Tumhari Nani aayi hai aur baar-baar mujhse Naira k liye puch rahin hain.
Kartik(Being Excited): Nani aayi hai..kab? Aap ne mujhe bataya nahi ki woh aane wali hain?
Swarna: Mujhe bhi kahan pata tha ki woh aane waali hain. Warna toh main Naira ko office jaane hi nahi deti.
Kartik: Usme kya hai maa. Aap Nani ko bol dijiye woh office gayi hui hai.
Swarna(In mind): Ab main tumhe kaise bataun ki Naani ko bilkul pasand nahi aayega, uska office jaana.

Realising she is on line:
"Theek hai main rakh rahi hun. Agar tumhari usse baat ho toh usse kehna jaldi se ghar aa jaane ko." Swarna said avoiding his question and thus she disconnected.

It's 7 in the evening but Naira is still not at home.

After completing the meeting, Naira saw so many missed calls on her phone and she immediately called Swarna...

Naira: Maa, aapne call kiya tha? Sorry maa main meeting mein thi...
And she was interrupted.
Swarna: Haan...aur tum ab tak ghar nahi aayi?
Naira: Maa, woh office mein kuch jaruri kaam aa gya tha isliye.
Swarna: Acha theek hai. Tumhara Kaam jab ho jaaye toh thoda ghar pe bhi dhyan de dena.

By saying this, she cuts the call without awaring her about Nani.

Naira called Kartik to ask him whether he is coming to pick up her or not. Kartik told her he will bs coming by 8. So she thought to complete her rest of the work until he comes.

In the Car:
Kartik: How was your day? Bahut busy thi kya?
Naira: Don't ask. Aaj toh bahut hectic day tha. Continuous attending meeting one after another. You know maa ne call kiya tha and I wasn't able to receive.
Kartik: Oh yaa.. she called me even. I forgot to tell you. Nani aayi hai!!
Naira: Isliye woh mujhe call kar rahi thi. I called her up but she didn't inform me anything about her arrival.
Kartik: Because she told me to inform you but unfortunately I forgot.
Naira: you must have informed me Kartik then I would have been home at this time. What maa and Nani must be thinking of me that I am such a careless person. First impression hi kharab ho gaya. All because of you.
Kartik(Chilling her mood): Acha meri wajah se!! Okay, Fine. You don't worry I will make this up for you. Arre you don't worry...My Nani is very cool. You don't need to worry for that. She won't tell you anything.

Naira(In mind): May be Nani ji cool hongi but maa toh bilkul nahi hain.
Naira(Being a bit tensed): Hmm...
While doing some chit-chat they reach home.

In the mansion:
Kartik and Naira took blessings of Nani. Nani asked Naira about her whereabouts but before she was going to speak Swarna interrupted in between saying "Maine kaha na maa aapse. Woh kaam se gayi thi."

By saying this she ended the topic.
Soon it was Dinner time. Everyone had their dinner sitting on the Dining Table all together and after some time they left for their perspective room.
