Next morning,
He came and picked Naira from her house and they both directly went to their office respectively.

Naira's office(At lunch hour)
She was going to have her lunch with one of her colleague where she accidentally meets Nikhil and they share a friendly hug with each other.

Naira: Tum yahan?
Nikhil: Main yahan kuch kaam se aaya tha aur tum yahan kaise?
Naira: Main toh yahin work karti hun.
Nikhil: What a coincidence!! Tum iss company mein kaam karti ho!! Main bhi toh issi company mein kaam kar raha...I mean New York branch mein. Avi mera Training period chal raha toh issi purpose se India aaya hua hun. Yahan aaya toh pata chala, Gayu is getting married...Issi bahane uski shaadi bhi attend kar lunga.
Waise kitna time hua hai tumhe yahan join kiye hue?
Naira: Waise toh mujhe iss company mein 1 year hone waala hai par maine apni shaadi ki wajah se 3 months ka leave liya tha.
Nikhil: Haan, isliye main jab last time yahan aaya tha, tab tum yahan nahi thi.
Naira: Haan, pehle main kahin aur work karti thi. But you know, you should never miss good opportunities in your life.
Nikhil(Dreaming Sarcastically): Yeah, so true.
And they enjoyed their break by having their brunch and some fun gossips.

Meanwhile, here Akshara called Swarna for inviting them personally on the phone for Gayu's marriage.
Akshara: Namaste...kaise hain aap sab?
Swarna: Sab thik hai..aap bataiye?
Akshara: Hum sab bhi thik hain. Asal mein woh hume batana tha ki next week se saare functions start ho rhein hain. Next week Sunday ka mahurat Nikla hai, shaadi ka. Humne Invitation card bhi bhejwa diya hai..Naksh le k aata hi hoga.
Swarna: Acha, badhai ho aapko.
Akshara: Jee Aapko bhi. Bas main soch rahi thi ki agar kuch din Naira yahan ka kuch kaam sambhaal leti, toh acha rehta. Issi bahane woh aur Gayu bhi thoda saath mein time spend kar lnge kyunki uske baad toh Gayu bhi chali jayegi.
Swarna: Kyun nahi, main aaj hi Naira se baat karti hun.
Akshara: Jee rakhti hun.

After a while, Naira returned home. She directly went to her room to have some rest. Swarna sends a cup of coffee to make her feel fresh through one of their servant.

Dinner Time:
As everyone were there sitting around the dining table, having their dinner. In the mean time, Swarna said  "Naira, beta aaj Akshara jii ka call aaya tha. Woh keh rahi thi ki unhe tumhari jarurt padhegi wahan k saare kaamon mein. Shaadi ka ghar hai..kaam ho hi jaata hai."

"Thik hai maa, main kal se thoda pehle nikal jaaya karungi office se. Phir raat ko Kartik mujhe lene aa jayega. Aur waise bhi maine office mein leave k liye apply kiya hai. Tab main aur jyada time de paungi wahan pe." Naira said.

Listening her part, by the end of their having meal period, she said "Naira beta, main soch rahi thi ki Tum wahin Gayu ki shaadi tak reh jao. Aise roz wahan jaana office k baad aur phir waapas yahan, tum thak jaogi. Aise bhi shaadi ki taiyari koi mazaak ka kaam nahi hai."

To which Naira somewhere get convinced. But she responded saying "Thik hai Maa, main dekhti Hun."

And everybody went off to their respective rooms.

While In Singhania Sadan:
Gayu went to Nikhil's room, after having their respective dinner. She wanted to communicate more with him as he was back in town after months. Entering his room,
Gayu: Hey, Whats up?
Nikhil: Nothing much. Feeling very tired so trying to sleep.
Gayu: Okay. So, Should I leave?
Nikhil: No, no. It's fine. Sit na.
Gayu: Well, How was your office?
Nikhil: Don't ask. Sometimes Private Jobs Sucks. By the way, You didn't tell me that Naira is in the same branch I am working?
Gayu: Oh!! Yeah, I forgot to inform you that she works in "Value 360". So what did you guys do?
Nikhil: Nothing just had few snacks with some fun chattering around.
Gayu: By the way, I am sorry....
Nikhil: Sorry!! For what?
Gayu: For couldn't do anything regarding you; your feelings for Naira; for the love that you have for her.

And he again lost his smile hearing her name. He got a little upset, though didn't pretend. Lowering his eyes he said "Gayu, It's okay. Let's just forget all that."

"I know you are pretending to be okay but you are not. I can see in your eyes. The way you look at her; The way her little smile makes you happy, I can feel that. But, I was helpless. And the main thing was, I had never felt the same feeling from her side for you as well. Ye rishta toh mere liye tha aur mujhe toh mana karna hi tha. Mujhe toh baad mein pata chala ki Kartik iss rishte mein kabhi interested tha hi nahi. Usne Shuru se Naira ko hi pasand kiya tha. Personally woh meri family ko bhi kafi pasand aa gaya tha. Isliye toh jab Kartik ne apni feelings share ki sab k saamne, Naira k liye...Toh koi mana nahi kar paaya. And main bhi koi excuse nahi de paayi iss rishte ko aage na badhaane k liye bacause he is such a gem. Kafi pyaar karta hai woh Naira se." She said mentioning all the facts before him.

He remained numb and she again said placing her hand on his "I am sorry. May be there would someone more better than you ever thought."

"It's okay. I don't have any grudges for anyone. I know she was not made for me. Eventually it's all about fate. Tum khud dekho na, main Naira ki life mein Kartik se pehle aaya par kabhi usse apni feelings share karne ki himmat hi nahi hui. Woh mere baad aaya aur Naira usse mil gayi.....
But it's okay. I am fine now. They both are happy with each other...Nothing else I want." He said being a bit emotional.

"You sure" she asked.

"Yeah. I am cool dude man." He himself launghed on his words which seems he is genuinely okay.

KAIRA Room:
While Naira was getting off to sleep, Kartik stopped her saying "Aaj niche tumhe maa ne Jo kaha, Singhania Sadan mein rehne ko le kar...uske baare mein tumne kya socha hai?"

"Pata nahi Kartik, maine abhi tak kuch socha nahi. Waise dekha jaaye toh maa ne sahi kaha hai...main bekaar mein thak jaungi itna aana jaana kar k. Better I should be staying there." She said lying on the bed.

"Koi jarurt nahi hai. Tum wahan nahi rahogi." He said making her wondered.

"Kyun? Kya problem hai isme?" She asked giving him a questioning look.

"Koi problem nahi hai par tum kya karegi wahan reh kar. Aur agar tumhe aane-jaane ki itni dikkat ho rahi hai toh main tumhe lene aa jaaya karunga." He said.

"Kya Kartik? Sirf kuch dinon ki toh baat hai. Ek baar Gayu di ki shaadi ho jaye, phir toh main yahi aa jaungi." She said not understanding his real reason.

"Arre main keh raha hun na. Tum itne din wahan rahogi toh main...main kaise rahunga yahan tumhare bina. Tum kahin nahi jaa rahi ho, samjhi." He said making cute faces before her.

And she just couldn't help and agreed for what he asked her to do.

"Toh ye baat hai. Thik hai, toh main maa ko bata dun ki unka beta...."She acted being loud in order of teasing him.

"Nahi, nahi. Unhe kya kehna hai, woh meri problem hai." He said stopping her.

She giggled viewing his cute antics.

And that's how this night came to an end.
