As it's been 4 days, since last they had a talk to each other and also since Naira is staying with her family now a days as Gayu's wedding functions are on their way to start.

As the first function; the haldi function has arrived, so everyone is engaged in it's related activities.

Now when the guests are on their way to attend the function, Naira is looking for her in-laws and Kartik to be at the occasion. Eventually she got happy seeing her in-laws arriving the venue.

But sooner she got upset, when her eyes didn't find Kartik in the crowd.
She was being told that he might get late as he is stuck in some of his urgent meeting.

It's been a time being, when they had a last conversation with each other like a normal couple does and also she had been very busy in her sister's functions that both of them didn't get much time to have a good conversation between them and to sort the problems out.

After waiting for a while, she was being restless and out of nowhere she called him up to know his whereabouts.

Naira: Kartik...tum kab Tak aaoge?
Kartik: I will take some time...abhi kuch keh nahi sakta...
Naira: Kartik function bas start hone hi waala hai...Tum please thoda jaldi aane ki koshish karo na...p
Kartik: I will try...but honestly I don't think that I would be able to....
Naira got numb.....
Kartik(not listening a single word from her this time): Naira...I am sorry...am really sorry...I can try but I can't promise.
Naira(little being low): It's okay but do try.
Kartik: hmmm...bye...
And he cut the call without giving her a chance to say a word.

In Garden area,
Here in between family talks, everyone out there are praising Nikhil for his managing ability towards an every individual work. As he is working constantly since morning as if, some close family member of his is getting married.

Manish also joined the conversation saying "Sach mein, ladka bada honhar hai...lag hi nahi rha ki hamari family se iska koi rishta-naata nahi hai."

"Sach mein, agar Ankit nahi hota na...toh main pakka gayu ki shaadi isse hi karwa deta." Naitik told in between to entertain the crowd which leads to bring smile in everyone's faces.

As the function has started so everybody is putting haldi on Gayu's face. When the Nikhil's turn came, he put haldi on Gayu's face and in order to tease Naira, he put on her nose as well and ran away.

In order to take her revenge, she ran after him and after a while, she got hold with his collars and she also get naughty with him and put a bit haldi on his nose.

And there the right entry marked the footprints and hence he witnessed the whole thing happening infront of his eyes. At the same time, the spark of insecurity also went up.

Seeing him right infront of her, Gayu said, Hie Kartik. Tum na bilkul sahi time pe aaye ho. Aur ye Kya saali ki haldi k function mein itni late se aaya jaata hai?

Kartik: Am so sorry yar. Perhaps be my bad luck.
Gayu: Apology taken but next time aisa bilkul nahi chalega...aage se I want to see you first at the entry gate.
Kartik: Ok..(laughing out loud)

And he marked haldi with his fingers on her face beautifully. Thus the function ended on a happy note.

So, the in-laws left for their place, leaving Kartik behind as he was forced to be there by all the elder members of the family and Naira as well. Hence, despite of making many excuses, Kartik couldn't afford to leave from there.

Kaira room:
Kartik on call, talking to some of his client.
Naira entered in their bedroom, bringing two cups of cold coffee for themselves.

Seeing him on call, she kept the same on nearby table and went inside the washroom to change.

Coming out of washroom, she found him still busy with the call, she goes nearby and gave a back hug to him.

Sooner, he cut the call and turned to her side, when she says "coffee? I have made cold coffee, just for you."

She handed him the cup of coffee and giving her a little smile, he asked "Is coffee k badle koi reward chahiye tumhe?"

"Haan....sorry....am so sorry that main tumhe yahan bina bataye aa gayi." She blurted out in one go.

Adoring her apology demanding face, he said in a bit rude tone "Isme nai baat thodi na hai..ab toh lagta hai mujhe hi aadat daalni hogi tumhari baat, kisi aur se pata chalne ki." (Since he was tired of being upset with her same mistakes again n again)

Naira:Kartik...yeh tum Kya.........
Kartik: Naira please, main thak Chuka hun tumhe same baat baar-baar keh k. I am an totally done with all this shit. Mujhe bahut neend aa rahi hai...I need sleep.

And Naira remain shattered and confused at the same time as she was incapable to figuring out the day by day ruthless behaviour of her husband.

Hello my all readers and non-readers as well. Here I am with my next chapter of my first ever fiction story.
I know, I know, the wait was quite longer and please pardon me for that but trust me I am doing my best to keep you updated with my upcomings as early as possible I can.

I know this is my passion but I can't afford to compromise on my career in order to sticking on this. Hope you guys will understand me. I will genuinely try to conclude some time for this area of interest as well. Apologising once again.
