(64) Ready Or Not

Aphmau's POV

I've been playing with the boys for quite a while now.
All of us have been sitting in the main dining/party room, building towers out of legos.
We only closed an hour ago and still have some time before my dad gets here for his night shift.

"I'm bored!" Denis groans.
Sara chuckles.
"Suck it up!" Uta growls, throwing a Lego at him.
"Ow!" Denis shouts and rubs his forehead.
"I'm gonna-!"
"Boys~!"
All eyes turn to me as my mom mode kicks in.
"Either you two make up, or I won't allow you to play
hide-and-seek~"
They both frown.
"Sorry." They both whisper at the same time.
Hye'Jin laughs.
"Typical Uta, always doing what he's told." She teases him.
"Why you-!"
"Count to twenty!"
She yells and quickly runs away.
We all laugh and follow, leaving Uta alone to count.
I end up taking Brandon with me because I already had him in my lap.
I assume that Michael is either with Jason or Katrina like always.

"Want to hide over there~?" I ask, pointing to the kitchen.
He smiles and I assume that's a yes.
With that, I dash into the kitchen to that Sara and Chelsy had the same idea.
"How are we all going to hide in here?!" Sara starts to panic.
"You go into the pantry, Chelsy can go in the cleaning closet, and I'll take Brandon with me in one of the cupboards under the prep area~"
They nod and we all get into our hiding spots.
"READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!"
Uta yells and starts his search for everyone.

I hope he doesn't come in here.

Jason's POV

As I'm making my way to one of the lesser used party rooms I hear a quiet whisper yell from behind me.
"Jason!"
Turning around, I see Katrina running over to me with Michael in her back.
I stop and wait for her to catch up before grabbing her hand, and proceeding to head to the party room.
When we get there we both search for the perfect place to hide.
"Ja!" Michael squeals.
I look over to see him pointing at the small stage with pink curtains.
I facepalm and pick him up.
"Over here~" I tell Kat.
We then hop up into the stage and go behind the pastel pink curtains.
"I really hope this works."
She whispers, a hint of worry in her tone.
"I do too~"
From all the way on the other side of the Pizzaria I hear Uta shout,
"READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!"

All that matters is that we beat Aph and Brandon.

Uta's POV

A smirk crawls into my face as I start searching for everyone.
It doesn't take long at all for me to find Laurence and Galaxy hiding behind the music boxes at prize box corner.
"No fair!" Laurence pouts.
"This spot was amazing! How did you know we were here?" He asks.
"He must have X-ray vision of something!" Galaxy concludes.
They both begin to stare at me in awe.
"You have X-ray vision?!" Laurence sounds...too excited.
"You totally have to teach us how to do that!" Galaxy says.
I just chuckle and ruffle their brown hair, causing their hats to fall of their heads.
"Come help me find the others."
I say and walk away to find them.

"No!" Chelsy cries as I find her in the kitchens cleaning closet.
Chelsy then immediately opens the pantry to reveal Sara.
"No fair!" She whines as Chelsy giggles.
They both then turn to a cabinet and I smirk.
We all quietly walk over and pull open the door together.
Aphmau squeaks and Brandon giggles as I tag them both.
"Have you found Hye'Jin yet~?"
Aph asks as she gets out of the cupboard and stands up tall.
"No, why? Do you know where she is?" I ask.
She shakes her head.
"I don't think she'll be hiding with anyone~ If she is, they probably don't even know it~"
She laughs.
We then all start our search for Hye'Jin, Kat, Jason, and Michael.
They're the only ones left, so they're probably all hiding together.

Figures, they're all not creative in the absolute slightest.

I chuckle to myself and head down to Parts and Service to check there.

Hye'Jin's POV

Everyone else has gotten caught, but I'm pretty sure that Jason, Katrina, and Michael are all still hiding.
I stealthily make my way down the hall to exactly where they would be hiding.
They're smart and would pick a place no one else would even try to check; the old party room.
We haven't really held parties in there in a while.
I, on the other hand, hid in a supply closet.
I was on a shelf, covered by a blanket.
When Joey and Andy opened the door, I nearly lost it.
I thought I was caught for sure.
Then I remembered that Denis was also in the closet with me and he got caught.
When they left and I heard them walk away, snuck out and made a run for it.
As I enter the party room, I head straight for the pink curtains and pull them back to reveal all three of them standing there.
I chuckle.
"You guys look like you just had a heart attack." I whisper.
"I'm we're the only ones who haven't gotten caught, so I have a plan." I say.

After I tell them the plan, they nod and we all get into our places.
We take Michael's shoes off and out them behind the curtain so it looks like we're still behind it.
Jason then hides behind the door with Michael, Katrina hides under a table, and I hide behind the other side of the curtain.

They're going to get the scare of a life time.
