Nick dropped me off at my house and I stepped inside. I waved to him and closed my door.

I looked around for Cole and sighed when I didn't see him.

I sat down on the couch and played on my phone.

"Hello?" I hear someone call out.

My heart stops for a moment and I stand up. "Who's here?"

"Claire?" I see Zane walk downstairs.

"Hey," I reply relieved.

He smiles, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

I giggle and pull him into a hug, ''It's alright, just didn't know you were home. Why were you upstairs?''

He smiles almost nervously, ''I was grabbing something for Cole."

I look at his hands, "What?"

He shrugs, "I couldn't find it. I gotta go,''

I frown, "Where's Cole?"

"Party." He responds nodding.

I sigh, "Can't you stay? Please?"

I do not want to stay home alone after today.

He smiles, "Yeah, lemme grab my charger from my car and I'll stay."

I smile back, "Okay."

We ended up watching The Hunger Games Trilogy until my brother returned home.

"Party was a banger bro, you missed it." Cole grins.

Zane shrugs, "I had fun watching Hunger Games with Claire."

Cole narrows his eyes, ''Claire? You okay?''

I smile, "I'm good, why?"

He shrugs, "you look nervous."

"Of course, I didn't expect to come home to an empty house. You didn't text me."

He sighs, "I'm sorry, Liam and I got caught up, I was gonna text you, I promise, the thought just left my mind and I totally forget."

Liam sits down on the couch next to me and goes on his phone. He glances at me and Zane and goes back to his phone.

"Are you okay, Cole?'' I ask.

He nods, ''Yeah, why?"

I shrug, ''Just being polite.'' I smile

Cole doesn't say reply, Liam  just smiles at me. I smile back and fake yawn.

"Well, it's late. I'm gonna get to bed. Goodnight, guys"
