It's a sickening feeling. Knowing one of your family members are in danger. And especially when there's really nothing you can do about it.

That feeling hurt the most.

I feel hopeless. Which, I know I should keep fighting, but it's hard.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and squeeze it gently, "I know the feeling, but we have to have hope, for Claire," he says quietly and Nick sits down next to me.

"We need to have hope because I know Claire has hope for us. She's cold and scared and I know her well enough now that I know that Claire is still praying for the best for us."

I shake my head and I finally feel the tears find there way down my face. I look at Nick.

He nods, "Cry. Be angry. But you have a job to do. We have to protect Claire with our lives, you understand that?"

I shake my head again, "I just want her here." I whisper.

He squeezes my shoulder again. "I know. Trust me. I know." He whispers and gives me a side hug.

I look down, "Why are you doing this, Nick?" I shake my head, "After everything?"

He hums, "Cause I know Claire wants us to be civil." He nods, "And no one deserves to feel hopeless." He stands up and walks to the kitchen.

I nod slowly and follow him.

Zane and Jake sit down at the the table and Nick's face goes serious, "Tyler." He mumbles and rests his chin on his palm.

Tyler nods and puts down the map again, "We have two locations left. On the map they look like warehouses but at this point they can be anything." He shrugs.

Liam nods, "So, we drove there. Turns out they are both private property."

I roll my eyes, " 'Course they are." I shake my head and leans back in my chair crossing my arms.

Nick looks at me and he shakes his head slightly and looks back at everyone, "Okay. Well, luckily for us, we are good at this type of thing."

Jake hums, "Well, than, what's the plan?" He looks at Nick.

I look at the map and keep my eyes on a waterhouse near one of red circles. "What about that?" I point to it.

Nick stands up and looks at it. "I've never seen that before."

Liam nods, "We look there. Twice in the last 2 weeks. Tyler has authority of it."

Tyler purses his lips and nods, "Empty. Cold. Work supplies." He shrugs.

I nod and sit back down. "We should split up."

Nick nods, "I agree. We need more ground to cover. More men." Nick looks at Jake and Tyler and glances at me. His face drops for a moment.

I look at him, "What?"

Tyler nods, "Sebastian." He hums. "We'll need his help."

I scoff and shake my head, "No. Westside and North don't get along. We all know that."

Nick looks back at me, "We didn't get along before this either, Cole."

I look down quickly. My palms becoming slightly more sweatier. My heart pounding.

Nick stands up, "It's final. We'll ask Sebastian for help. He owes me this anyway." He nods, "good?"

I bite my cheek and don't say anything but nod my head.

Zane looks at me and doesn't say anything either. Liam nods, "Settled then. We'll move out tomorrow."
