To All The Boys I've Loved Before

~Betty's POV~
For the longest time I've had a crush on my sisters boyfriend.....Well ex boyfriend they broke up for reason Polly said is because something our mom said before she died. Jason Blossom. I'm never gonna make a "move" on him. I could never do that to Polly. So I wrote letters there obviously I wasn't going to deliver them. There are 4 and no not all of them are about Jason. Only one of them is the others are about Archie Andrews (some kid from camp), Kevin Keller (from the freshman dance), and Jughead Jones (from 7th grade). I made them so I could reread them and see how bad my crush is. I guess you could call me a hopeless romantic considering how I've seen at least 100 romance movies and I love reading about romance. On my first day of Jr year I'm on track with my best friend Toni when Jughead Jones came running towards me... With a letter "Hi I need to talk to you." He says to me and looks at Toni so she leaves and says "If you need me I'll be in the nurse's office with a migraine! Googling Brendon Urie shirtless!" Toni is my best friend and my enemy's (Veronica Lodge) cousin. "Okay so what do you want to talk about?" I asked him "Ummm... I think it's great that you think I have golden specks in my eyes.... But never gonna happen." He told me I had no idea what he was talking about "I beg your pardon?" "You're letter...Yeah Veronica and I like just broke so...." he said and me the letter that I wrote him. Oh no. Everything started going black the last thing I heard was him saying "Woah! Woah! Woah!". While I was passed out I dreamt about when we were playing spin the bottle and we kissed. Then I woke up "What happened?" I asked groggily "You passed out. Do you need me to get the nurse?" He asked when I woke up "No I'm fine it just-" I began before I saw Jason coming towards me with a letter. My automatic reaction was pinning Jughead and kissing him. When I got off of him I ran. "Cooper, wait!" I heard Jughead yelling behind me. I also ran past Jason who was giving me the weirdest look. Can't blame him. I ran to a bathroom stall I heard a voice Kevin Keller's voice "Hey are you doing okay? I think you might want this back." He said and slid the letter under the bathroom stall "Okay Kevin, just know I wrote this letter years ago." I told him "Freshman prom right?" "Yeah." I said "I have to ask you do know I'm gay right?" He asked. I did not "Yeah." I lied "Okay could you just keep it on the down low though not that I'm ashamed it just... You know how high school is." He said "Yeah no problem." "Thanks." "You're welcome." When I got home I went looking for my little blue box. I can't find it. I constantly screamed at myself in my head. "Betty, Jason is here!" My little sister Juniper yelled from down stairs. (a/n:Don't judge me I had to make someone the replacement for Kitty) I didn't know what to do so I climbed out of my window and rolled off my roof and went to Pop's on my bike. I sat down in my usual booth and all of a sudden Jughead sits on the other side of the booth "What do you want, Jughead?" I asked him "Okay I just need to clarify that whatever happened that's it." He said to me. I laughed "Jughead Jones I am not trying to date you." I told him "Really because I'm pretty sure you sent me a love letter and kissed me on the track field." "That was because I was trying to avoid someone else that got a letter." "Wait there are 2 letters... Wow you think that you're special because you get a well written love letter then you find out that she gave one to another guy." "Actually there are 5 so don't go feeling to special!" I said laughing "Damn Cooper, you're a player." He said and I rolled my eyes "Who are the other guy's anyway?" He asked "That Juggie- Sorry Jughead I am not telling you." I said to him "For one it's fine and two just tell me." "Will you leave me alone?" I asked "Probably." He answered "Fine Jason Blossom-" I began "Woah, woah, woah. Isn't that your sister's boyfriend?" He asked "Ex and I never plan for me to be with him I would never do that to Polly. Moving on. I also gave one to Archie Andrews and Kevin Keller." I told him "He's gay." "You don't know that." "Everyone knows that!" I rolled my eyes again "I'm driving you home get your bike and put it in my car." He told me "Fine." When we got to my house he asked me "I was thinking maybe we could possibly fake date so I could get Veronica back and you would get Jason to think that the letter was fake or something?" "Jughead I am not letting you have me be your pawn." I told him "Didn't you do that to me when you kissed me at track? At least think about it." "Good bye, Jughead." He left. Usually when I go in my room I see imaginary Jason now I see imaginary Jughead "Cool trick right?" My eyes widened. The next day at school I ran to the Blue and Gold (Our school newspaper) I walked towards him "I will take you up on that offer." I told him "Great." He said and kissed me I sighed and slightly smiled "Okay well I'm gonna go." I said blushing and walked out. Later at lunch Jughead and I went to a table far a way from everyone else so I could state a few rules "Okay so we need a few rules." I told him "Rules? Wow you really know how to not make something fun." He said "Okay well I'm sorry if I don't want all of my firsts to be fake and I don't want you to kiss me anymore." I told him "People call me a depressed writer and even at that people won't believe that we're in a relationship that doesn't kiss." He told me "But you can put your hand in my back pocket." I said "You want me to do what now?" He asked "Put your hand in my back pocket it's the thing for 16 Candles. Another rule no one knows about this." "Okay well 1.You have the references of an 80 year old woman and 2.Of course 1st rule of fight club." He said "Fight club?" "WHAT! You haven't seen fight club? Okay write that down. I'll watch 16 Candles and you watch fight club. Also you have to come to the Whyte Wyrm with me when we have party's." "Jughead Jones goes to party's. Wow. Color me shocked." I said and laughed when I saw his smug look I cleared my throat "Oh and you're coming to the school ski trip." He told me "Fine." I only said yes because that wasn't for another 3 months and I knew this wasn't going to last that long. I'll give it a week if that. "Alright, Betts tonight we have a party to go to." "No." "Yes party's are in the contract." "Fine." So I got ready "Wow you look... Beautiful." "Thank you, Juggie." When we got there I redid my ponytail. He took my hair tie out "No! Give it back!" "Come on you look amazing with your hair down." He said and put my hair tie on his wrist. I sighed "Fine." I answered. Overall socializing wasn't the worst thing on Earth during the party all Jughead and I did was talk about our lives and our real world problems all the stuff I never talked about with my sisters. After the party we went to Pop's "Okay so clearly you have problems with commitment and love... How come you easily come out to me?" He asked. Truth is I love this boy and the reason why I come out to him is because I love him obviously I cannot tell him so I said this "Because we're just pretending." He sighed and said "Right! So umm I think I'm gonna go home." But before I could say anything he left. We somehow made this last for 3 months which means I have to go to the ski trip. Wonderful. When I got on the bus I saw that Jughead was saving a seat for me but I decided to sit with Toni "I'm drained. Let me sleep in peace and go with your boyfriend." She told me. I sighed and was about to get up but Veronica sat there before I had the chance and she gave me a look and Jughead looked at me with a sad look in his eyes "I can't Veronica is sitting there." "You're letting her steal your man." I rolled my eyes. The Lodge we were at was amazing "Hey B, maybe you should go sledding with Jughead." Toni suggested "No." "Yes." "NO." "Okay Kev, don't you think she should go out and go sledding with her boyfriend?" Toni asked Kevin "What? No I would suggest staying inside with some hot co co and face masks." He said. I smiled in victory. I explained my entire situation to Kevin "Don't worry I'll keep your secret. Also if you love him why are you here with me when you should be with him in the hot tub where he is waiting for you?" He asked "You think he is?" "Honey, I know he is." "Alright I'll be back later, I'm going to the hot tub." When I got to the hot tub he was there "Hey Cooper." "Hi Juggie." I waved and I got in "Your getting in here in your pajamas?" He asked "Yes." I said and started literally making out with him. It felt like magic. And we made out for an hour or two. When it was time to go home I decided to sit with Jughead  "Hey I'm tired can I use you as my pillow?" He asked and gave me the puppy eyes "Yeah." I answered and he put his head on my shoulder and I put my head on top of his. When we got off the bus everything went down hill "Hey Betts." Veronica said in an evil tone "Only Jughead calls me that and I prefer to keep it that way." I told her "Okay well I just thought you should know your boyfriend was in my room last night." She said which slightly cracked my heart "What?" "Yeah He was in my room last night." "Well thanks for telling me." I said as tears started forming in my eyes. I walked over to Jughead "So you were in Veronica's room last night?" "No Betty it's not like that. I'll drive you home and I'll explain in the car." "Jughead Jones, I honestly would rather walk than be in the same car with you right now." I said and walked away. When I got home I saw my sister Polly coming down stairs with Juniper "You're back!" Juniper yelled "Yeah I am and so are you!" I said and looked at Polly "So how's Jughead?" Juniper asked "Jughead? Ooooh who's Jughead?" Polly asked me "Umm-" I started until the door bell rang. And take a guess who was at the door. Forstheye Pendleton Jones the third. "What do you want Jughead?" "I want you to talk!" "There's nothing to talk about you still love Veronica! Honestly Jughead, I'm tired of being second best or fake best! I don't even know!" "Hey she said to go away!" Jason stepped in "Oh because you're still not in love with Jason!" Jughead yelled and Polly heard "You're in love with Jason?" She asked went back inside "OKAY BOTH OF YOU LEAVE!" I yelled at them "God Betts, you were never second best." Jughead said before he left and I went back inside "I'll have you know that I never "tried" anything with Jason." I told Polly "It's okay but do you still love him?" She asked "No who I love is Jughead." I told her everything then we heard a sneeze from my door frame "How long have you been there?" I asked "Not long... The entire time." Juniper answered "And if we're making confessions... I'm the one that sent the letters." She told me. I then chased her around my room with something that resembles a staff. She ran into my closet "Okay! Betty, before you attempt to murder our little sister keep in mind I forgave you! So you should forgive her!" Polly told me "Fine. You owe me big time!" I told Juniper "OH THANK GOD I GET TO LIVE TO 7TH GRADE!" Juniper yelled. I turned on my phone and saw a picture of Jughead and I as my home and lock screen "I guess I should change these now." I told my sisters. The next day I was tired of moping so I decided to drive to my high school and tell Jughead how I feel. Luckily he was in the Blue and Gold. "I drove here." I told him because he knew I'm afraid to drive "That's amazing." "I'm gonna go." "Woah, woah, woah! I need you to know that the reason I was in Veronica's room that night was to tell her that nothing else was gonna be going on between me and her.. Because I'm in love with you Elizabeth." He told me "What Cooper, you gonna break my heart?" I shook my head and kissed him.
