jonah marais was another patient at the mental hospital. he has been there longer than any of the boys had.

at age seventeen, jonah was diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder.

this meant that jonah commonly had outbursts of anger and sometimes violence.

this caused a tightness in his chest, making it harder to breathe. as much as jonah tried to stop himself during these times, he couldn't.

whenever jonah would have a sudden outburst, security guards would immediately take him away to a room that he never liked. although, sometimes they'd do more.
