Miracles?

My eyes fluttered shut....

I couldn't move
I couldn't see
I couldn't speak
I could only hear

The yelling....the rushing...the movement...she shifting....the doctors short of breath trying to save me. I then stopped hearing. Moments later my eyes opened and I saw Daniel. He was holding our two angels Julia and James. Problem was he was crying.

D: Why did you leave us Ella? We love you...we....I need you

E: Dani—

D: You have her smile Jamesy....and you Julia...were blessed with her beautiful brown eyes.

I wasn't there. I saw my limp empty body. Laying on the bed.

Daniel faded away and then I saw my two babies grown a bit. Running around happily. Daniel fought tears as him the boys and the girls played with them.

It flashed away again.

Then Daniel was dropping them off at school. He got home and cried. He stared at my picture and cried.

D: It was supposed to be US Ella...why did god bring two lovely things into the world only to take the most lovely thing away. I love the kids...but I love you more El...I-I miss you...I can't do this without you.....

He had quit the band and spent his days crying and nights crying himself to sleep. My kids seemed heartbroken too....how could I have—-

It flashed away I heard a voice "they need you"

My eyes opened and I saw Daniel crying. Rocking our babies back and forth.

E: Da—

D: ELLA! SHES AWAKE!

The nurses rushed in

D: I can't believe this...she's alive

and within minutes they were out and I was sitting up.

D: Your ok

He cried while holding me.

E: Daniel....

D: They said you died and they were pulling the plug that was keeping you breathing. I told them not to...I said you wouldn't leave...they said if you leave it's...it's a miracle....your my miracle my love

E: Dani—-I love you

D: I love you too! Do you want our babies

E: Mhmm

He handed me the twins and I cradled them. I moved over slightly on the bed making some space for Daniel to sit and he took Julia. I held James and Daniel kissed my cheek.

D: I am so glad you made it....I couldn't raise them without you

E: Me too Daniel

He turned to me and held my cheek in his hand.

D: You Ella Seavey are my amazing miracle...

E: Dan—

He sang

D:
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine

Just how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

He looked up

D:
Thank you for not taking my sunshine away

He kissed me again and then the kids. We were a family forevermore.....

He held me in his arms in the car.

?: We lost our baby.....

??: I—I know my baby....I wish life wasn't like this but....we weren't ready...or married

?: Ma-Maybe your right

He squeezed me tighter and rubbed my back as we both cried. Due to all the stress I had lost our baby...I knew now what Ella had gone through....this was truly the scariest feeling...
