Trinity's POV

Dominique and I have been talking, texting, FaceTimes, almost everyday. It's to the point where he is liking and commenting under my pictures.

I still want things to be lowkey but it's kinda out there. But nothing is confirmed.

School has been good so far. I've gotten good grades for my midterm but my Calculus class can kiss my ass.

I have two Bs, one A, and a D. Fucking Calculus.

Laiyah walked in the kitchen were I was. "So, what's up?" she asked.

"Nothing. Just finishing my homework." I stated.

She nodded her head. "Can we um, can we do something?"

I looked at her. "What?"

"I need you to go to the clinic with me."

I raised my eyebrow. "What clinic?"

"Clinic to see if everything's okay down there."

"You're not serious are you?"

She laughed and shook her head. "No I'm not serious. Besides, I would've went without you." she said.

I rolled my eyes and threw the paper towel roll at her. "Hate you."

"So, this Thanksgiving I'm thinking bout going to Michigan." she stated.

I nodded. "With RJ?"

"Unfortunately. He called and was like it would be nice to see you."

"After how many years? Four? Now he wants to see you?" I questioned.

"Tell him you're doing just ducking fine." I added.

She chuckled. "What are you doing for Thanksgiving?"

I shrugged. "The same thing we always do. Either go by Meme and Papa Nathan or Momo and Papa. The guys should be here tonight." I said

"Do they know about Baby coming and meeting the parents?"

I nodded. "It's been two months. Of course they know. They probably gone ask buku questions. Like they're my dad or something."

Laila shook her head. "Well, I'm feeling Empire. What some?"

"Yes. I would like Spicy BBQ with regular fries and a sprite." I stated.

"Gotcha. I'll be back." she said leaving out the door.

I grabbed my Calculus book, went to the couch and I finished my popsicle. My phone rung and I answered it.

"Hello."

"What you doing?" Dominique asked.

"Finishing my homework."

"Oh shit. Okay."

"What is it?"

"Don't want to interrupt you doing your work."
