"If someone makes you feel, let them" -Reyna Biddy

Three weeks later~

Three weeks have passed since the funeral of James and Caroline. Gabriella and Noah still suffer an agonizing pain from missing the love of their lives. But as the days come and pass, each of them learn to deal with their pain.

Gabriella has gone to the cemetery four times in the course of those three weeks. She goes and stays there for an hour to change the flowers and talk about her day. A daily routine of James and Gabriella, except this time it was different. Instead of James doing most of the talking, it was Gabby who had to do all the talking.

Seeing Gabriella deal with all the pain was upsetting. Her loved one had died. And she had no friends to console her. While she felt lonely sometimes, she thought it was better that way. At least no one would leave her like everyone else had done.

Unlike Gabriella, Noah had friends and family to console him. He knew he wasn't alone in his time of pain. His friends assured him that soon the pain would diminish. It was just a matter of time when.

Gabriella

It was June now. Three weeks had passed since the day of the funeral. I wasn't sick anymore and I was content with that. During those three weeks, I spent my time by going to my college classes.

Besides going to college I worked all the time and whenever I was free I went to visit James. At first it was strange to just talk to him about my day and not get a response back. But, after a few more times I got used to it.

Right now I was working at the café. I was at the register serving the customers. As I was putting some cash inside the register, the next customer stood in front of the register and I looked up to greet the person.

"Hello sir, what can I get for you?" I said looking at the man. It took me a while but I soon realized it was the guy that was always with Noah. I hadn't seen any of them for a while so I was surprised to see Noah's friend.

"Hi, I would like a hazelnut coffee and for my friend a peppermint mocha latte." He said and I nodded at his order while typing it in on the register.

"Would that be all?" I asked to make sure he was ready to pay. He made a popping sound with his tongue in thought.

"Add an éclair and a slice of the strawberry cake." I finishing typing his order as the cost appeared on the screen.

"Your total is $12.40".

He pulled out his card and proceeded to swipe it. I waited for the transaction to finish to print his receipt.

Grabbing the receipt I handed it to him.

"Thank you." He said walking back to his seat and that was when I noticed Mr. Adams daughter, Emily. She was seated at one of the tables in the corner while on her phone. When the guy arrived she looked up and turned off her phone.

I looked away not wanting to be nosy and attended the next person in line. When one of the co-workers had finished making the order I grabbed a tray and placed the order on it.

Arriving to the table I slowly placed the cup on the table not wanting to spill anything.

"Here is the éclair and the slice of strawberry cake." I placed the plates in the middle.
