"I don't trust Micheal," I whisper as Alex and I look for him, "I feel like he's dangerous and isn't telling us."

Alex looks at me with a blank face, pulling down his hoodie, "Micheal doesn't talk. However, I do trust him and I do think he has no intention of killing us."

"Then why'd he escape?" I ask, shoving aside one of Alex's hoodies that lies on the floor, "We should clean this dorm every once in a while, it looks like a pig lives in here. Granted, you are a cat. But, like, no." I peer into the corner, looking for Micheal. Something black catches my eye, but it scurries away.

I scream.

"What?!" Alex jumps into the corner behind me and the black thing I saw scurries back. Micheal. Alexander puts his arm out as Micheal crawls onto it, "Jesus, don't scream so loudly..." Alex says, rubbing his ears.

I watch him in awe as Micheal crawls onto his shoulder, then snap back to reality a few moments later, "Put him away. It's four AM, if I keep you up any longer you won't sleep tomorrow."

"You mean today. Technically, it's four AM, while means it's today. Today I won't sleep."

"Smart," I pat his head and his ears go up, "Put the spider away." Reluctantly, he put Micheal back into the container that we had gotten for him. It was plastic and had air holes, just like a human bean. When Micheal is put away, Alex comes back into bed and snuggles up to me.

"I'm not tired." He whispers. I pat his head again, then use my palm to force his head up. He looks at me with tired eyes.

"You look tired," I let go of his head, and it falls back down on my chest. He whimpers slightly as I keep a strong hold on him, "You need to sleep," I remind him tiredly, "Or you'll be tired. You're not tired right now though, are you?" He shakes his head, "Yes, you are. Goodnight."

Alex whimpers again, kissing me softly, "Tell me a story."

"We aren't doing this again," I answer, running a hand through his hair, "Aaron got mad at me last time."

Alex mumbles something incoherently, then speaks up, "Aaron is always mad at you, Daddy."

"I know. He's a bad friend, isn't he?"

"Yup!" He replies quickly.

"Besides, you were always jealous of him."

"What?" Alex exclaims, "No! Never," He's silent, then, "Tell me a story."

"Shh. Okay, fine. We'll continue the story of how we met."
