IN 1991, SUGE KNIGHT and Dr. Dre founded Death row Records, a West Coast record label. After the release of Dr. Dre's, The Chronic album the year after, it gained a lot of buzz all around the globe. Then came fellow labelmate, Snoop Dogg who released Doggystyle. All of the success caused Deathrow records to become huge; Mika Richardson studied music ever since she could crawl and that was a normal thing when living in Compton. She fed off of it and even wrote her own songs, with a perfect voice to go along with it. Her talent was unmatchable. It was so rare that her demo tape got passed around until ending up in the hands of Suge. He was so impressed at what he heard, that he offered to turn eighteen year old Mika into a huge R&B sensation. Mika just knew that she was on her way to living out her dreams but nobody could ever tell her how fucked up the business would be. She went into the industry an artist that just wanted to be heard but received a count of events nobody would want to face.
