Leila

She scanned through the book, forgetting the world around her as she read the words printed on the page.

     Weaknesses

Every creature must have a weakness. It is Nature’s way of keeping balance. Without a weakness, their is no balance.

Wizard’s may not kill innocents. If a Wizard were to harm or kill an innocent soul they would instantly loose their gifts.

Vampire’s can be killed simply by the bite of a Werewolf. They will slowly and painfully start to decay. During this time, they are thirstier for human blood than in any other time in a Vampire’s life. The blood of an Angel can cure the bite.

Werewolves can be poisoned with Wolfspain, a kind of plant. It will burn their skin and if ingested, can be deadly.

Mer–People live underwater, it is their home. It is where they belong. If a Mer–Person were to be without water for more then 24 hours at a time, they will become extremely dehydrated, first, loosing their powers, and then dying.

Zombie’s can be weakened with Dark Angel blood. It can weaken them if taken in small amounts, but if taken in large amounts, is lethal.

Light Angel’s and Dark Angel’s have a more unique weakness.

Leila stopped reading. Her breath hitched in her throat.

‘Light Angel? What the hell is that?’

     Leila continued to read.

Dark Angel’s are weakened by a Supernatural Blood. The mixing of blood from every Supernatural Creature in existence weakens Dark Angel’s. Their form of destruction is unknown.

Leila smirked at reading the last line. She couldn’t be killed.

She was about to keep reading but she heard the door slam behind her.

“You’ve been reading the whole time I’ve been gone?” Dean asked, surprised.

“Yeah. In case you haven’t noticed, there’s not much to do around here.” Leila replied distastefully.

An idea suddenly popped into her head. Leila went back to the weaknesses, re–reading the one for Vampire’s.

Vampire’s can be killed simply by the bite of a Werewolf. They will slowly and painfully start to decay. During this time, they are thirstier for human blood than in any other time in a Vampire’s life. The blood of an Angel can cure the bite.

Leila smiled to herself and got her Werewolf fangs out, ready to bite.

“So what were you reading about?” He asked, opening a can of blood and siping it.

“C’mere,” Leila said, with her head down.

“Okay. .” He murmered suspiciously as he walked over her.

He kneeled down, putting the can of blood next to Leila’s chair. She quickly dropped the book, grabbing his wrist and bitting down, hard.

“What the fuck?!” He exclaimed, falling on the floor. Leika ignored him and reached for the door handle. She felt a burning sensation the second she touched it, making her cry out in pain. Leila felt Dean’s left hand grab around my stomach, and with the right, he showed me a small glass tube filled with a dark red liquid.

“If you don’t fix whatever the hell you just did to me that’s making me feel like crap, I’ll use this–” He shook the bottle around a bit, getting his point accross. “–to burn your pretty little face.”

Her heart started to race. “Fine.” Leila spat, handing him my wrist. “My blood is the cure.”

     “How are you so sure?”

“It was in the book.” He answered.

He hesitantly took Leila’s wrist, bitting down and drinking. He let go and sat her down roughly on the chair, tying her legs back up.

“Don’t try that again.” He spits. His eyes glowed red.

     “Ever.”

Gabe

Gabe began to make it rain, but only right above Kaitlyn. Instead of making the water dropplets freeze (like w they had been practicing all week) they fall on her, leaving her soaked and furious.

“What happened? I thought you’d get this by now!” Gabe shouted.

“I’m sorry, okay? I’m just kind of worried about Leila. We were kind if getting close before she was kidnapped.” She replied, walking over to the closet where she had her dry clothes.

“I thought you guys hated each other.” Gabe said. He remembered Kaitlyn having a big attitude, and Leila (having one herself) not liking it.

“Well the night she got her Mark of Power she came to my castle and we realized we actually have a lot in common.”

Gabe sat next to her on the bench. He abruptly felt a sharp pain on his wrist but he ignored it. “We’ll find her. Leila’s a fiesty one. She’ll probably get herself out way before we’re close to finding her.”

“I just–” Kaitlyn’s sentence was interrupted by Gabe’s pained shout. The pain on his wrist was rapidly getting worse.

“Are you okay?” Kaitlyn asked, worried.

“I think I’m getting my Mark of Power. Which means so is Ella.” Gabe ran out of the training room and down the hall.

“I have to make sure her and the baby are safe.” He shouted at Kaitlyn as he turned the corner, trying to avoid the blinding pain in his wrist.

He finally got to their room, and heard Ella’s pained yells. “Ella!”

He walked into the bathroom, and found her in the bath tub, clutching her wrist.

“It’s okay, I’m fine. The burning isn’t so bad anymore.” She breathed.

     “You sure?”

“Yeah,” She insisted, handing him her wrist. He saw a mark that looked like an anchor neatly inked on her skin.

     “Our Marks of Power.”
