Ashley

Ashley woke up with a huge smile on her face. She remembered her date with Xander. He had taken her to dinner, and used his gift of water to make a waterpark–like slide. It was the most fun she had ever had.

She heard her phone ringing somewhere in the mess that were her bed sheets. Ashley palmed around the bed until her hand came in contact with a rectangle shaped vibrating object.

“Morning, beautiful.” Ashley heard her boyfriends sleepy voice.

“Hi. How come you called me so early?” She yawned. She cringed. Ashley hated the sound of her voice in the morning.

“After yesterday I wanted to hear your voice..” He trailed off. “.. that and Leila wants to see you.” After hearing that Ashley’s heart leapt in her chest. She hadn’t talked to Leila since the day they were trapped. Leila had left a lot of friends behind and sadly, Ashley had been one of them. And ever since Leila saw that Ashley was part of the True Royals, the hope of them being friends again was diminished. At least to Ashley it was. What could Leila want now? Ashley didn’t know how to respond. So she stayed silent for a while, until Xander spoke up.

     “Ashley?” Xander asked.

“Yeah, um hi.” Ashley laughed nervously. “I’ll be there in ten.”

After Xander saying I love you’ and Ashley replying,‘I love you more’ they hung up the phone, and Ashley got ready for the most nerve–wrecking encounter she’d ever experienced.

Leila

After hearing the news about how Leila could fix the two mates problem she figured she needed serious decision help. So she called all of her girlfriends from W.R. Even the one’s who weren’t Royals.

Most of them walked through the door at once, and they looked pretty nervous. Except for Ashley, she came in last, looking the most nervous of all.

Everyone stayed silent, probably extremely anxious as to what Leila was going to say.

“Okay,” Leila sarted, taking in a deep breath. “I know you guys must be freaking out right now, but don’t be. I’ve only called you here to help me make the biggest desicion of my life.” Leila said. She thought she was exaggerating, but in the long run, she really wasn’t. The person by her side would help her make many of her decisions in life. Support her and help her through dark times. And although Leila didn’t know it, there was a storm coming. And no matter how much the thought she had prepared, she might’ve been ready for the battle, but she wasn’t ready for the war.

“What?” Ella asked. They were all on the egde of their metaphorical seats.

“Who I loose my virginity to.”

Everyone gasped, and Leila laughed. She had missed having gossip girl time. Once a month Leila used to have a slumber party with all her girlfriends. They’d eat, gossip, and watch The Vampire Diaries. (Leila totally shipped Delena, by the way.)

“So.. we’re having a slumber party. No interruption!” Leila said, and everyone cheered.

“Why do you have to loose your virginity right now?” Victoria asked.

“It’s the only way to choose a permanent mate. I have to sleep with either The Man In White or Dean.” Leila replied. She sighed, and rubbed her temples.

Samantha began to shake, and they all looked at her. “Samantha, are you okay?” She continued to shake. Leila could see Samantha’s fangs, and they were the pointiest she had ever seen them.

     “I-I smell blood..”

“What? There aren’t any humans here.” Just as Ella said that, Leila’s phone rang. It was Samantha's boyfriend, Brandon. Though when Leila answered the phone, it sounded more like Damian.

“Is Samantha okay?” He asked in a rush. “Brandon’s fangs are out and he says he smells blood.”

That was exactly what Samantha was going through.  Before Leila could tell Damian that Samantha had the same symptoms, she heard the pit-patter of loud rain.

“Oh my God!” Damian yelled through the phone.

     “What? What’s hapening?”

“It’s raining blood.” He answered, and the line went dead.
