** DANTE VINO POV **

She was exquisite, marvelous in every possible way. Rebel was like a drug to me. When I have her, she flows into my bloodstream, filling me with a numbing bliss. But go too long without her, I start losing my sanity and would desperately do anything to regain my once euphoric state.

Her lips have been haunting my dreams since the first moment I laid eyes on her. When we finally kissed, her lavender scent and minty breath was like a breath of fresh air. A breath that I've been gasping desperately for throughout eternities, as if I lived my entire life drowning without even knowing it.

It was as if she was made just for me. Our intimacy was the greatest physical pleasure I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. Even with all the fucked up and monstrous things I have done in my life, I must have done something right to have this flawless angel come crashing into my life.

We drove to her parents house in comfortable silence. She looked out the window with a petite hand rested under her chin while her fingers held onto the necklace I gave her. I couldn't help but stare at my beautiful little vixen next to me. I was drawn to her in every possible way. Her intelligence, her body, her voice, her attitude, I adore everything about her. She was perfect... and she was mine.

"Eyes on the road Mr. Vino." She said as she continued to look out the window.

I simply responded by placing my hand on her thigh. She looked at me and gave me a smile that would make even Satan himself repent his sins.

As we arrived to our destination, I was surprised to see that it was a hospital. I got out of the car and quickly walked around to the passengers side, opening the door for my little vixen. I held my hand out and helped her as she hopped down from the lifted Range Rover and smiled at me.

"Your parents work in a hospital?" I asked curiously. Craving her touch, I grabbed her hand and interlocked our fingers together as we walked into the hospital.

"Not quite." She said as her expression softened into a slightly somber smile. I tiled my head curiously as I processed the meaning behind her words.

"Oh, I see." I said in a soft tone as realization struck me. My thumb drew comforting circles on her silky skin.

"My father died when I was 14." She said quickly as she looked away. "My mom is the only family I have." She explained as we continued to walk down the brightly lit corridors.

"So please be on your best behavior." My little vixen said as her hazel eyes looked up at me.

"No promises, baby." I said as I let go of her hand and roughly smacked her ass then squeezed it tightly. She squealed at the impact and bit her lip, making my dick twitch at the sight.

We stopped in front of a door labeled "324" and she quickly pushed it open without knocking. The room was plain. The walls bearing no decorations except for a single stocking from the hospital. The woman, who I assumed was Rebels mother, looked frail and weak. Her hair was patchy and her skin was deathly pale. My little vixen was the spitting image of her mother, the only difference being her dull brown eyes.

Realization flooded over me as I now finally understand why she stole the money from me in the first place. The expensive looking machines and monitors, the large flat screen TV and a personal bathroom... Rebel stole the money to make sure that her mother was taken care of. A pang of guilt struck through me as I remembered how I treated her all those weeks ago.

"Honey! You're here!" Her mother exclaimed as her eyes widened at the sight of her daughter.

"Hi Mom. Merry Christmas." Rebel said, leaving my side to hug her mother. The room suddenly felt colder without her near. I mentally scolded myself at the jealousy that arose from her hugging another person.

"Oh it's so good to see you darling. I see you've brought a friend." Her mom said as she eyed me cautiously.

I know I'm not the most ideal man to bring home to your mother, you know, with tattoos covering my neck, arms, and hands. If anything, I was the man mothers warned their daughters to stay away from. Usually I wouldn't give a fuck about what anyone thought about me. However, this is Rebels mother, and I couldn't help but feel somewhat nervous as her eyes traveled to my ink drenched skin.

"Mom, this is Dante. He's-" she started as she looked at me for an explanation.

"I'm her boyfriend. Dante Vino. It's such an honor to finally meet you Miss. Simmons." I said confidently as I walked over and shook her hand. My response made a blush creep into Rebels cheeks, and I couldn't help but feel proud at the fact that I caused it. I've never done a relationship before, or even humored the idea, but one thing I know with the upmost certainty is that she is mine... only mine... with or without a useless label.

"Oh come here!" Her mother exclaimed as she pulled my shoulders down and embraced me in a tight hug.

"I'm Angelina, but you can call me Angie." She said as she released me from her tight embrace.

"Nice to meet you, Angie." I said giving her my most charming smile.

"Rebel I'm so happy you found yourself such a handsome man. I'm so proud of you honey." Angie said as she was beaming towards Rebel. I loved seeing my little vixen this relaxed and carefree. I watched her as her face lit up with love, caring and adoration for her mother. They were talking about her time in Italy and Angie nearly had a heart attack from excitement and Rebel gave her a new iPad and chocolates from Venice.

I've never had an enjoyable Christmas until Rebel came into my life. It wasn't about the gifts, but for me it was about seeing how thoughtful and caring this amazing woman was. How each gift was perfectly tailor fitted to the other person, and the smile that graced her face when seeing their reaction made my heart flutter.

"Honey, could you go and get some dessert for me from the cafeteria?" Angie asked as she grabbed Rebels hand.

"I can go grab it." I spoke as I stood up.

"Oh nonsense. Rebel knows where it is, and more importantly, she knows what kind of cake I like." Angie said as she winked at me and Rebel laughed.

"Ok, I'll be back soon." Rebel said standing up as she kissed her mother's forehead before walking out of the room and closing the door.

Angie sat up from her bed as soon as the door closed. Her entire demeanor has changed from relaxed to tense, and her eyes were wide. She reached under her pillow and pulled out a revolver, pointing it directly at my head.
