"Okay, how should we do this?" Pidge asked me.

I looked at her and saw that she was looking at the Chemistry project paper. She looked way too cute with her nose scrunched up and her oversized glasses falling down on her nose.

Realizing that she asked me a question, I responded, "How about you choose three feelings and I choose three? We can both decide what should be for the last one."

She nodded and we both spent a few minutes writing down some feelings. I got two but needed another one. Finally, one came to my head, and I couldn't help but smirk as I wrote it down.

Pidge's reaction to this is going to be hilarious.

"What did you get?" I asked her after we both finished. Her list was happiness, sadness, and stress. Cool.

"What about you?" she asked, and I smirked as I showed it to her.

I saw her eyes widen and her cheeks color as she read the last one before shouting out, "We are not doing that last one!"

"Why not?" I pouted, leaning closer to her. She is so cute when she is flustered. "Too embarrassed to do that one with me?"

"U-Uh-," she stuttered as I leaned in towards her ear.

"You don't need to be shy about it Pidge. It's totally fine to feel it." Honestly, why is she so freaking irresistible?

She didn't respond; instead, she put her hands on my chest and pushed me away.

Huh?

"U-um, w-we should get back to work," she muttered, not looking at me as she looked over the papers.

"Okay..." I said, confused about before.

As we continued to work, I couldn't help but think what in the world just happened?

After two hours, we were finally done with the research part of our project. Pidge was acting all jumpy around me, just like she did when I first met her. Did I go too far? Does she not like me?

"Hey, do know where Matt and Shiro are?" I asked her, and I could tell she was wondering as well.

She just shrugged, so I gave a quick text to both of them before standing up and stretching.

"What do you want to do now?" Pidge asked.

"Wanna watched a movie?" I just wanted to spend more time with her.

She nodded and I told her that I would choose, which she was fine with.

I picked The Conjuring,  one of my favorite horror movies. Some people say it is really scary, but I don't think that.

I sat down on one side of the couch as Pidge took the other side, making me frown a bit. Seeing her reaction to my movie choice, I looked at her and asked, "Too scared to watch it?" Even though I was messing with her, if she didn't want to watch it, I would choose a different movie.

She retorted, "Of course not." Okay, if she says so.

Throughout the movie, I heard Pidge let out small yelps at some of the scenes. One scene was so scary she hid under her blanket for some time.

Concerned, I asked, "Pidge, are you sure you want to watch this? We don't have to."

"N-No, I-I'm fine," she stuttered. As if I would believe that.

"Come here," I said, and she looked shocked. I clarified, "If you get scared, I can cover your eyes and tell you when the scene is over."

Blushing, she got up and sat next to me, but there was still a lot of space next to us. Sighing, I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to me, making her squeak.

Ah, much better.

As promised, at the parts that were scary, I covered her eyes with the hand that wasn't around her waist. I didn't want to let go of her; she was just way too cuddly.

As soon as the movie ended, she told me that she needed to go to the bathroom and jumped away from my hold, sprinting to the bathroom.

I glanced at the time and saw that it was almost seven. Matt also texted me that he and Shiro were getting some groceries and that I should make food. When I asked him why I should, he told me that Pidge had done some not so memorable things in the kitchen in the past.

As I started to heat up some pasta, Pidge walked into the kitchen and asked, "Why are you making food?"

I said, "Shiro and Matt will be here in an hour, and it is almost seven, so I decided to make some food. Plus, Matt told me that he didn't want the house burn down, so here I am, cooking."

Pidge didn't say anything; instead, she came next to me and asked, "Can I please help you cook? I won't do anything wrong, I promise!"

I scoffed, "That is what you told your mom when you guys were baking brownies before the oven almost blew up because you put the temperature a few hundred degrees too high."

"Hey, that was baking, not cooking. Please, Keith, please?" she begged me. Looking at her puppy dog face, I nodded and focused my attention on the pasta.

D*mn her cute little face.

"Okay, so what should I do?" she asked, obviously excited.

"How about you stir the pasta around while I cut up the vegetables. And before you ask, no, you are not cutting the veggies. You're going to cut yourself," I told her, and she looked a bit disappointed.

As I cut up the veggies, I could tell Pidge looked sad considering that she was slouching and lazily stirring the pasta.

Deciding to surprise her, I crept up behind her and reached over her, putting the veggies in the pasta bowl. She stiffened, not expecting me to do that.

I  leaned down and said, "Doing great Pidge."

"W-well, who wouldn't be doing great at stirring around pasta? It's really easy," she said, a bit flustered. She wanted to play? Fine.

"Oh really? Let's see about that," I said, putting my arms around her and putting my face in the crook of her neck.

It made her jump a little bit, but she continued to stir as if nothing happened. I'm going to have to step up my game.

After waiting for a few minutes, I gently put my lips against her neck.

This caused a funny reaction out of her; she jumped up, veggies falling out of the pan and onto the floor.

Holding in a laugh, I whispered, "Told you that it isn't as easy as you think it is," in her ear, giving it a gentle kiss before walking away, leaving her facing the stove, still as a statue.
