Informed a doctor as he led Alfie, Byron and Me down multiple long corridors.
"Oh my god" I whispered as he arrived at Dee's room. I breathed slowly as my eyes inspected her, a red intimidating liquid in a drip led to her arm, a clear tube would round from her ears to under her nose, another drip lead to Dee's over arm, the sac filled with a clear slightly yellow liquid. Her face was in competition with the white bed sheets for the palest shade of white, her long hair lay lose in the pillow behind him, she lay lifeless. I sighed, all the people in this room, alone, pale, bones ready to burst through their skin, lifeless.
This could be Dee's fate.
