"Selina Kyle. Long time no see." Lilah smirked as she entered the dinning room to see Catwoman herself sitting on the table, her slender legs dangling over the edge, "By long time I mean a day ago." Selina smirked,

"Lilah." She began, "I was wondering when we would meet again. I see you know Christian." She purred, slipping off of the table and moving towards them,

"Mutual friends are always fun, aren't they?" Lilah smiled bitterly, a smile which Selina returned. They were ladies and ladies always remained polite when face to face with a woman they disliked.

"So... you two have met and clearly don't like each other." Christian sighed, looking from one woman to the other. Lilah laughed softly, before skipping over to  one of the chairs and sitting down, placing her feet up onto the expensive table as she did so, much to Christian's displeasure.

"I would have thought you would be with your sweet Jonathan Crane." Selina smirked, raising an eyebrow at Lilah who shrugged,

"He confessed his love for me, then we kissed and now it's weird." She explained nonchalantly. At that moment, Selina was briefly silent with a slight look of confusion on her face,

"Anyway..." Christian interrupted, "It is a good thing I have both of you here. Means I didn't have to call you." He said, turning his gaze to Lilah,

"I thought you said my visit was unexpected?" She asked, raising her hands in question.

"It was." Christian nodded, "Usually I have to drag people here."

"With a smile like that?" Selina purred. Lilah's eyes flickered between the pair of them, before narrowing them in suspicion,

"Something going on here?" She asked. Christian and Selina exchanged looks briefly before both them shook their heads,

"No, no, no, no." They both rushed. Lilah shrugged her shoulders,

"Okay, okay... So, what do you want Christian?" She asked, leaning back on the chair, her eyes fixated on the dark haired man who readjusted his leather jacket,

"I have been invited to Bruce Wayne's party-"

"No." Both Selina and Lilah cut him off,

"We are not going with you." Lilah provided for the pair of them and much to her surprise, Selina buried her stubbornness and backed her up,

"Find other girls, handsome." She spoke in her usual seductive tone of voice. Christian however crossed his arms over his chest,

"It's only for a night. Just so I don't look like a loser." He whined, "You can leave after an hour. I just need you both to walk in with me and then I'll find someone who will fall for my charm and good looks and then into my bed." he explained,

"You disgust me." Lilah frowned, looking his up and down with her eyebrow raised, "But, if you need, I'll go along. Anything to get out of this awkward situation with Jonathan..." Selina's eyes flicked towards her,

"If you're going. I'm not." She hissed, "You have more of an ability to draw attention to yourself than The Riddler does. I saw your little show at the Police Department." She snapped,

"I'm not going to draw attention to myself." Lilah retorted.

"No offence, dear. But I don't trust you." Selina smiled. Lilah's jaw dropped,

"What? Do you want me to pinky swear?" She asked. Selina simply huffed, turning her attention back to Christian who sighed heavily. "Look, Christian." Lilah began, getting to her feet and moving towards him, "I get why you like her." She said, her eyes flicking towards Selina "I like brunettes too. Brunette Men, I might add. However, what I don't get... is why she likes you. So far, you've proved to be useless." Christian's brow furrowed,

"I could say the same about what Crane sees in you. You're a bitch." He nodded.

"Only in your eyes." Lilah retorted.  "Tell that to my friends, like... ah... Tommy... Or Floyd for that matter. Actually, I take that back. Floyd would probably agree with you." Christian rolled his eyes,

"It was a bad idea bringing you here." He sighed. Lilah smirked, she hadn't had this much fun in months,

"You know, guys. I'm feeling very ganged up on right now."  Christian opened his mouth to reply but was cut off by the ringing of what she assumed to be his mobile phone. Proving herself correct, Christian pulled his phone out from his the pocket in his jeans, quickly checking the name before holding his finger up to the women, gesturing for them to be silent before he clicked a button and pressed the phone to his ear,

"Christian here... Yes... I have her right in front of me..." His eyes flicked to Lilah, who had an uneasy feeling wash over her, "Are you sure? If you're not sure, don't tell me things like that and just remember that I believe in killing the messenger and can easily have you killed if I find out you're lying to me." Lilah smirked; well that confirmed the stone cold killer rumour. "Call me if anything else comes up." Hanging up the phone, his attention turned to Lilah,

"There is something you need to know." He began. Lilah took a small breath, she was nervous, but naturally, she refused to allow these people to know that. So instead, she forced a smile,

"About what?"

"Jonathan" That was the second straw. Her smile faded slightly, but she used her strength to remain calm despite wanting to run out the room this very moment to find him,

"Go on." She smiled. Even Selina was watching with curiosity on her face and Lilah found that the longer she was forced to wait for an answer, the harder it was to hide her concern, Christian took a breath,

"Jonathan attempted to kidnap Rachel Dawes. All was fine until Batman showed up." He said. Lilah frowned, that wasn't that bad, "He's been arrested."

"And?" Lilah asked raising her eyebrow, "We can break him out from Blackgate."

"He has been taken to Arkham Asylum." Christian told her and Lilah grimaced.

"Why?" It was Selina who asked. Lilah glared at her, if she wasn't careful, the saying 'curiosity killed the cat' would become a reality for Miss Kyle. Christian took another breath,

"When he was facing Batman. It seems that he had the so called Fear Gas used on him. It had a worse effect then you would think." Lilah's heart sank. This was her fault. He gave her the antidote and now he had paid the price. She didn't even get to tell him that she loved him, "He is undergoing psychiatric examinations." Lilah's eyes fell to the ground,

"We need to find him." She said,

"Lilah. The man is a nut. He's not the Jonathan Crane you think you know." Christian spoke softly as Lilah's brain became frantic.

"I don't care." She snapped, "I love him. Now, help me save him. Please." her tone was begging and her eyes were locked to Christian's. Giving her a small nod, he sighed,

"Fine. But we'll need to come up with a plan."
