Bitter Sweet Reunions.

After finally having the handcuffs removed and being forced to change into clothing that gave off an 'inmatey' feel (Actually, it was pretty much the exact same as Raleigh's) as well as seeing her's and Raleigh's cell; Jeremiah led her into a smaller room that had a series of old, mouldy looking couches laying about,

"This is where our... nicer inmates are able to sit around and enjoy the lovely sight." he mocked, gesturing to the window that overlooked the Narrows, "Here, you'll be able to dream of freedom that you may never, ever obtain."

"Cute." Lilah sneered, her temper was wearing thin with this man. Jeremiah simply ignored her as they continued to walk further into the room,

"And there he is." He smirked, looking over towards a large chair that was facing away from them, the shadow of a figure was sitting in it, presumably looking out the window at the 'unobtainable freedom'. "Jonathan Crane himself." Staring at the chair, Lilah froze; after all this time, there he was, staring out a window. Now that he was so close, she seemed to be frozen, her heart was racing a million miles an hour and her thoughts were running wild. Right now, even if she was to stay in this hell forever, as long as she was with Jonathan Crane, it didn't matter.

"Leave." Lilah mused, her eyes still locked onto the figure in the chair. Jeremiah looked at her,

"Fine. I'll give you ten minutes and then that's it." he replied before turning on his heel and walking off, "Try anything and you'll have Lyle to deal with." He threatened before disappearing around the corner and starting her ten minutes alone with Jonathan. As she took small steps closer, the nerves grew stronger and stronger to the point where she thought she was going to freeze or throw up. All of this seemed too easy. Far too easy. But, Lilah forced herself to continue to walk towards the chair, she had to see him, even just once more. As she moved around the chair, the nerves and everything stopped and for only a few seconds, she seemed frozen, her eyes locked onto Jonathan, he looked tired and his hair was a mess. His eyes were locked onto The Narrows and the strait jacket that restrained him looked as through the thread was coming out. But there he was, right in front of her, mumbling 'Scarecrow' under his breath.

"Jonathan?" Her tone was soft, she had not intended it to be soft, but that was all that came out. His tired eyes shifted to look at her. No, look straight through her. It was almost as if she was invisible.

"You're.... not... real..." He mumbled to himself before averting his eyes from her and back to the window. Lilah stepped forward, squatting down in front of him and placing her hands on his knees, causing Jonathan to flinch at her touch, his eyes widened in disbelief.

"Jonathan? Are you okay?" She whispered softly. Jonathan swallowed,

"You're here." He muttered, as if trying to convince himself that she was in fact in front of him. Leaning forward, Lilah cupped his face,

"I'm here. I came here for you." She whispered, an uncontrollable smile on her face. Jonathan frowned slightly,

"Why?" This time it was Lilah's turn to frown,

"What do you mean 'why'?" She asked.

"I thought you would have been in Star City by now.." His tone lingered and his eyes avoided her once more. Standing up, Lilah leaned forward, so her face was inches from his. Looking back at her, Jonathan raised his eyebrow,

"What are you doing?" He asked, causing Lilah to giggle, she had missed those famous words of his. Placing her hands on either side of the chair, Lilah sat on Jonathan's lap and cupped his face,

"What do you think I'm doing?" She teased, kissing him lightly on his nose. Lilah didn't care if anyone was watching them. She had missed Jonathan and deep down, she knew he missed her as well. Pulling back away from him, Lilah raised her eyebrow at him,

"Damn this jacket." He sighed softly, looking up at her with a small smirk. Placing her hands on his shoulders, Lilah giggled once more, he was her Jonathan Crane after all. Maybe a little bit damaged and worn, but still hers. Leaning forward, she pressed her lips against his; the soft, warm familiar feeling that she had craved felt like heaven against her lips. Pulling back softly, Lilah smiled,

"I missed you." She whispered, leaning in and pecking his lips several times,

"I must admit, I have missed you also." Jonathan replied, arching his face up towards hers, his eyes asking for one more kiss... and one after that and after that. Pressing her lips against his again, Lilah ran her fingers through his thick hair, deepening the kiss with every moment that passed, just to make sure that it wasn't a dream.

"Come on. Break it up." Lyle's voice rang in Lilah's head before she felt his large hand on her shoulder, pulling her off of Jonathan completely. "There will be no touching between inmates." He growled.

"Upset that a pair of 'inmates' have a better love life than you?" Lilah smirked, pulling herself from Lyle's hold and looking back to Jonathan who was glaring quite dangerously at Lyle. It was a look of danger that Lilah had never seen in her Jonathan Crane before. It was a look that showed nothing but merciless fury and bitterness. But, Lyle Bolton didn't scare that easy, he was usually the one that put fear into people. What he didn't understand was that Jonathan was the Master of Fear and if anything, his... change had only increased his ruthlessness.

"Lay a hand on her again and... Well, I'll make your already predetermined death far more painful and longer." His crisp tone sent a chill throughout the room that every staff member and inmate who had heard his words felt. Staring directly at Jonathan, Lyle took a small step forward, clenching his fists; but as he opened his mouth to speak, he was thankfully cut off by Jeremiah, who had returned,

"Lyle... I do believe there are other things you could attend to..." He said, taking calm steps towards them, his hands resting behind his neck. After exchanging looks, Lyle gave a stiff nod before glancing over his shoulder at Lilah and Jonathan and storming out of the room, muttering under his breath as he went.

"Your ten minuets are up." He said calmly, despite the glare Lilah gave him, "I do hope you enjoyed your little catch up."

"Please stop talking before I rip your tongue out through your teeth." She hissed. Jeremiah simply smirked, moving towards a nearby table and picking up a pen and clip board that lay on its surface.

"You seem to be rather irritable." He smirked whilst writing down a few notes on the piece of paper, "my only question is: Is it simply a side effect to the insanity that has consumed you, or even a side effect to the loss of your brother or is it simply personality?" Stepping toward him, Lilah took a hold of the clipboard in his hands before pulling it from him and tossing it over his head. The clipboard landed on the marble floor with a loud thud causing the entire room to fall silent as Lilah and Jeremiah, who were no more than a few centimetres apart, continued to stare at each other before Lilah finally spoke,

"Personality." She answered. Jeremiah tilted his head at her, his smile only broadening and she could hear a soft chuckle from Jonathan.

"I'll make a note of that." He mused, "In the mean time. I suggest you follow me back yo your cell." Turning on his heel, Jeremiah strode off, clearly expecting her to follow which, after exchanging one last look with Jonathan, she did. There was no doubt, Jeremiah had power. Power that he knew how to use. Lilah had never met someone who was as manipulative as Jeremiah... No... That was a lie. Jeremiah was second to only one other: Jonathan.
