Putting the phone away, she locked her eyes onto Christian, who rubbed his hand over his chest, breathing a sigh of relief that the red dot of death was gone,

"So..." Christian began, flicking those eyes that reminded her of Jonathan's towards her, "Where's our secret brotherhood handshake?" Lilah laughed, turning away from Christian completely,

"I didn't think."

"Clearly not." Christian chuckled. At least he found her remark funny. "My life was in the hands of The Riddler and you decided to bring up secret brotherhood handshakes."

"Oh, I do hope that you weren't joking about the secret brotherhood handshakes." Both of them turned to face Edward, who had his arms crossed over his chest, and a condescending look on his face. Lilah smirked,

"Oh goodie. The Freak is here. Or do you prefer the Riddler?"  Laughing at her comment, Christian decided to get his two-cents worth in,

"If you're eager about the handshake, I'm sure-"

"Shut up and listen." Lilah and Christian did as they were told, as Riddler spoke. "I have some useful information."

"Of course you do.." Lilah muttered under her breath, earning a glare from Edward,

"I'll help you. But only because it is Ra's al Ghul that interests me." He told them.

"What?" Looking around to Christian, who spoke, Lilah saw a look of complete and utter fear cross his features as he swallowed, "He's.... he's dead." He said. Lilah wasn't sure whether he was trying to convince Edward, or himself.

"My, my. Someone is a little bit afraid." Edward mocked, "However, this... fear obviously means you know the man. Care to tell us how?" He demanded, his eyes boring into Christian's. Christian forced a small smile,

"Finally. Something The Riddler himself doesn't know." He quipped. Narrowing his eyes, Edward stepped forward,

"Yet." His tone was threatening, but it only caused Christian to smile back at him,

"There are some things you're better off not knowing. This is one of them." He explained, clearly meaning every word.

"We shall see." The Riddler replied before he turned his eyes to Lilah, "As for you, it would be of interest for you to know that I am not only aware of Jonathan's connection with Ra's al Ghul, but also Ra's al Ghul's true desire."

"By all mean, share your knowledge with the group" Lilah smirked,

"He wishes to cleanse Gotham City of evil.... by destroying it." He said simply, his tone way too calm for the context of his words. Lilah paused,

"Of course... the fear gas.." She trailed off. It was the perfect distraction.

"Fortunately, he still has a need for Jonathan, who was instructed to create an antidote for himself, which I assume he took." As Riddler spoke, Lilah's heart sank.

"Actually." Lilah took a breath, her eyes falling to her feet as she felt Edward's judging eyes fall on her, "He didn't take it."

"What do you mean?" He demanded.

"He gave it to me." Lilah answered, her eyes moving back to meet his,

"That's explains his new.... persona." Edward mused,

"Alright. I'm getting sick of sitting around." A new voice came from... above them? "This secret handshake of yours, Li.... Is that still happening or are you going to disappoint me?" Lilah frowned as a cladded man with a strange looking eye glass that had a red glow jumped down from the rooftops, holding an impressive rifle in his hands,

"Floyd." Both Christian and Lilah greeted coldly, exchanging looks before they both turned their attention back to Deadshot who stepped towards them with a smirk,

"I hear your doctor is in trouble." He smirked,

"I hear you're still an asshole." she retorted, her eyes narrowing. Floyd pouted,

"Don't be like that." He said, poking her arm until she slapped his hand away. God he knew how to annoy her.

"Hello Floyd, nice work on the aim." Edward chimed in, moving forward towards Lilah's ex, who smiled,

"Edward. I see you've joined the League of Morons after all... I was looking forward to shooting Christian as well..." He sighed softly. Lilah narrowed her eyes, so he was the potential shooter.

"What are you doing here, Deadshot?" Christian asked, his eyes narrowing slightly, "Shouldn't you get back to Cheshire or who is that new girl? Carmen Leno?" Floyd shrugged his shoulders, while Lilah frowned,

"Who are these people?" Her eyes flicked between Floyd and Christian who were both death staring each other while Edward face-palmed,

"Yeah, why don't you tell her?" Christian smirked, "Maybe, you'd also like to tell her those pretty speeches you repeat to women to get them to crawl into bed with you. You know, the one about the heartbreak and blah, blah, blah I'm Deadshot and I'm an idiot." Stepping forward, Floyd aimed his gun directly at Christian, his finger hovering over the trigger,

"I will shoot you and I never miss." Holding his arms out, Christian smirked,

"Go ahead, let's see how your girl likes you after you shoot her friend." He said with way too much confidence for a guy who had a gun pointed in his face. Lilah frowned,

"If you're talking about me. Since when are we-"

"Don't question me!" Christian glared, looking at her with betrayal in his eyes. Floyd paused, his eyebrow raised slightly before he chuckled lightly and lowered the gun,

"I can't wait to watch you die." He told Christian who frowned, taking a rather uneasy breath,

"Right back at ya." He added in response. Lilah smiled at him, he shared her 'Foot in Mouth Syndrome.' Edward let out a rather loud sigh, drawing the attention of everyone,

"If we can concentrate and act like adults, I believe it would be a good idea if we could leave this place and return somewhere out of sight." He said without so much as a rhyme, shocking Lilah to the core,

"We can go to my place." Christian suggested, "It's big enough so that I don't have to see Deadshot's ugly face and guarded enough so he can't kill me in my sleep." He spoke in a very calm tone of voice despite the fact Floyd was death staring him.

"I will have to agree with Christian on this one." Lilah nodded, ignoring the glares she received from both Floyd and Edward,

"Fine." Edward mumbled. Lilah gave him a nod of approval,

"If you and Christian would wait in the car... I would like to have a word with Floyd." There was a moment of silence as Christian gave her a look that screamed 'are you serious?' and Edward gave her a dumbfounded expression before the pair of them slowly stepped towards Christian's car, leaving Floyd and Lilah to eye each other off. As soon as the pair were safely in the car and out of ears reach, Floyd smirked,

"Problem, love?"

"Yeah... you." Lilah frowned, "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to help." He replied shortly, raising his eyebrow slightly,

"Why?" Lilah growled.

"Because... you need someone of my expertise, if you want to get inside Arkham Asylum and live to tell the tale." He mocked, leaning towards her with a grin,

"You hate Jonathan." She retorted, crossing her arms over her chest.

"That I do." He nodded, "But, seeing as how your name is tattooed on my arm, I'd hate to have to say the name belongs to a patient at Arkham Asylum, I'm going to help you." Lilah didn't believe him, but it was the best she was going to get. Giving him a small nod, she turned on her heel and moved towards the car, Floyd close at her heels.
