Chapter 24

Angel's P.O.V

 I stood there shocked for a few seconds before pushing him away.

"What the heck was that?"

"A kiss?"

"That's not what I meant," I muttered making my way towards the stairs.

"Where are you going?"

"To my room. I have a headache."

"Hey comeback, we're not done here!"

"I am!" I said, closing my door.

What is wrong with him? First he doesn't like me and then he's kissing me? He has a girlfriend for crying out loud!

"So you have nothing to say?" Mavor asked coming into my room.

"You're the one who should be explaining."

"I thought it was obvious. You kiss someone when you like them."

"You have girlfriend Mavor, you shouldn't be kissing anyone but her."

"I don't have a girlfriend," he frowned.

"What about Vicky?"

"She's not my girlfriend, I broke up with her a while ago."

"Mavor do you think i'm that dumb? I saw her this morning remember?"

"So?"

"What do you mean so?"

"I mean she just came over, I didn't invite her."

"Well then why didn't you ask her to leave."

"Because I had a different plan."

"You're disgusting."

"No that's not what I mean't—" he was interrupted by the ringing of my cellphone.

"Now if you wouldn't mind leaving I have to take this," I glared.

"This isn't over." he said, getting up and leaving my room.

I sighed heavily before answering the phone.

"Hello?"

"Oh good you're home! I wasn't sure, but I just had to call you!" Cindy squealed from the other end out the phone.

"Well what's the news?" I smirked, I knew my plan worked.

"He asked me out after you left! I'm guessing you had something to do with that, but that's not the news either, he asked me to be his girlfriend!"

"That's great! I told you he liked you back." 

"I know, that's why I called you first. I wanted to thank you so much! You're such a great friend, and since you helped me, how about I help you get your guy?"

"What guy?"

"You know..."

"No I don't? Well anyway i'm getting another call I'll talk to you later."

"Okay bye!"

"Hello?"

"Hey Angel, you got a minute?"

"Yeah what's up Kevin?"

"Well I'm sure Cindy already called you but I wanted to thank you too."

"It was nothing," I smiled.

"That's not true. Oh and go easy on Mavor."

"How did you—"

"Talk to you later, bye," you could hear the smirk in his voice before he hung up.
