Angel's P.O.V

Mavor would not get that stupid grin off his face the whole drive home no matter what I said. When I said that I didn't mean it he just grinned even wider.

"I told you that I was just trying to get you to calm down, I didn't want you getting into a fight," I groaned opening the car door, getting out.

"Oh c'mon Angel!"

"So annoying," I muttered, unlocking the door.

"You know you like it," he whispered, putting his arms around my waist. Making my heart beat fast. But I managed to maintain my composure.

"Shut up."

Pushing him off me with my elbow, I went inside and straight for the stairs.

"At least think it over!"

"Whatever," I sighed, closing my door.

*

"We're having a party," Mavor barged into my room.

"Mavor! I could have been naked."

"I know," he smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"You're impossible. Anyway what do you mean "we're"? I think you mean you. I want nothing to do with this."

"Oh c'mon have a little fun."

"I do have fun."

"What kind of fun?" he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively making me scoff.

"Ew. I'm not you."

"That hurt, maybe you're not like me but you're no virgin."

"As a matter of fact I am. If you reacall,  I used to live in an orphanage. That's not a place for that."

"Oh yeah..."

"So about that party," I said trying to refocus this conversation on that and away from me. I didn't need him asking more questions.

"So you in?" he grinned.

"No but if you want to have one, go ahead."

"Fine i'll set it up ,but you're going to dance with me."

"I never said that!"

"You have to."

"Why?"

"Or else i'll trash the house so bad you won't be able to fix it before they come home."

"You wouldn',." I narrowed my eyes at him, calling his bluff.

"Oh but i would," he smirked, leaving my room.

I couldn't tell if he was lying or not. I really didn't want to go but i didn't want to take the chance. I guess i'm going to my first party today.

2 hours later I sat watching TV this whole time just waiting for the party to start.

"Angel we're going to go buy some stuff, you wanna come?"

"Who is we?"

"Me and Kevin," he said, opening the door a little, enough for me to be able to see Kevin.

"Hey Kevin."

"Come here Angel," he grinned, coming into my room with open arms. I shook my head and stood up to hug him.

"You have a girlfriend so get off her."

"I know man I just wanted to see you get worked up," Kevin smirked, letting go of me.

"Very funny. So are you coming or not?"

"No i'll stay here."

"Okay at least this will give you time to get ready," he said leaving with Kevin. Making me look down at my clothes.

I thought I was ready...

*

I'm not going.

A while after they came back people started arriving, and a couple of minutes after that it started getting loud. I had locked myself in my room. I don't even care if he does mess up the house, I'm not going out there with all those people I don't know.

"Angel c'mon! You said you would!" Mavor yelled from the other side of the door.

"Actually I never did."

"I'm going to get you to come out, one way or another," he grumbles, before walking away.

I'd like to see him try. The only way to get in is through the window and it's impossible to get up here so I'm safe.

Knock knock

"No this isn't the bathroom!"

This is the third time someone has knocked. I'm not even sure they were looking for the bathroom,it wouldn't be the best place to do what they wanted to do, if you know what I mean. I'm glad I locked the other bedroom doors, beside Mavor's of course. I think he you would lock it himself unless he wants people to do it on his bed.

"It's me, Cindy, let me in."

"Oh I should've guessed you were here," I said opening the door.

"So why aren't you down there?"

"I don't do parties. Especially ones where I don't know anyone."

"Well you know me, Mavor and Kevin."

"Yeah, but you guys are going to be busy talking to other people."

"I guess, but you could still have fun."

"Yeah Angel you can still have fun," Serenity smirked, coming in with Xavier.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"We were invited."

"I can see that, but you guys aren't really the partying type either."

"Well yeah, but we thought you could use some company. We knew you would lock yourself up here."

"I guess I'm predictable," I said locking the door I didn't wanna take the chance of Mavor getting in.

"How about you just dance for a couple of minutes and if you're not comfortable you come back up," Serenity bargained.

"Fine," I groaned unlocking the door.

"No you cant go out wearing that," Serenity stopped me.

"Why?"

"It's social suicide," Xavier whispered quoting the movie 'Mean Girls'.

"No, but really, you're going to stand out and I'm sure you don't want that."

"Well I have this fancy shirt in the top drawer."

"It's not supposed to be fancy. It's supposed to be sexy."

"But I don't have anything like that."

"Yes you do," Cindy piped in.

"No," I frowned, remembering the dress she had bought me.

"Come on," she whined.

"No."

"Yes," she insisted.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"No!"

"Yes! -wait dang it."

I thought I was smarter than that.

"Get out so I can change."

"You better not lock the door," Serenity scolded.

"Yeah yeah."

I grabbed the bag from under my bed and laid the dress out, examining it. Sighing I took off my t shirt leaving me in only my bra. Movement caught my eye as I threw the t shirt into the hamper. I turned toward my window and screamed.
