•Joey's Pov•
Julianna is so sweet and I feel horrible for asking about her brother. i'm going to have a serious talk with hayden. i laid down as julianna laid on top of me, i didn't mind. i wrapped my arms around her so she didn't fall. i then woke up after hearing the door knob turn, it was a little girl around the age of 10. must be her little sister she was on the phone to earlier.
"hi, i'm your sisters friend joey" i smiled softly
"hello, the names hayley. is annie okay?"
i nodded "yeah, annie's sleeping on top of me" i said laughing
"she lets you call her annie?" she asked me curiously
"i did by accident after hearing hayden say it"
she nodded "you can leave now"
"um, alright" i started to lift julianna off of me gently, trying not to wake her.
i failed and she woke up "where are you going?"
"home, Hayley's here" I whispered softly.
"stay, please" she wrapped her arms around me.
"he can leave" hayley rolled her eyes.
"hayley, that's rude. what's wrong with you?" julianna sat up.
"ugh, nothing!" she stomped her feet up the stairs.
"maybe i should just go.."
julianna shrugged her shoulders "i mean i want you to stay but i can't force you"
i sighed "i'll stay"
"i'm going to talk to hayley"
•Annie's Pov•
what's Hayley's problem? i thought she had a good day at school
"hayley, what's the matter?"
she rolled her eyes "you don't get it do you?"
i shook my head "no?"
she sighed "doesn't matter, your boyfriends downstairs"
"joey's not my boyfriend" i said shaking my head
"then why were you cuddling?"
i stayed silent.
"i rest my case"
i went to hug hayley but she pushed me away
"no!" she said sternly.
damn she seems spacey.
"what's wrong? didn't you have a good day?"
"i had a great day but why would you care? go hang out with joey or hayden"
i sighed "joey's only here because he dropped me home after i hurt myself"
"how'd you hurt yourself?"
"you want the truth?"
she nodded "the truth"
"hayden was being, let's say rough with me. my friend ruby noticed so she talked to this boy called ashton and told him about something hayden did and they started to punch each other. i ran in front of Ashton and Hayden punched me. I broke up with Hayden..then joey brought me home and we fell asleep"
"i had no idea, i'm so sorry anns" she hugged me softly
"it's okay, but why were you grumpy?"
"because i noticed how close you and joey were and i didn't want you to replace Caleb"
i teared up a little "oh hayley, i could never replace him"
i kissed her forehead "you feeling better?"
she nodded "go hang with joey, i'll tell you about my day later"
"you're the best hayley, come chill with us"
"are you sure, annie?"
i nodded "i'm sure"
we both walked downstairs
"hey hayley, you should invite your friend over"
"okay, let me just call"
she nodded, "okay he will be here soon"
i playfully smirked "ooh, 'he' who's the guy"
"you'll see" she playfully rolled her eyes.
the doorbell rang "i'll get it!" hayley ran for the door and let her new friend in, i admit if i was hayley's age i'd say he's cute.
