Chapter 18: 'let truth be told'

Aaron sat there there waiting for Emily to tell him what he thought was going on. But Emily saw Garcia as she had to tag along on this case. It took emily some time as she was waiting for Garcia to move away.

"Well.... Basically... I don't know how to...um.... Well you know James. Garcia's boyfriend he...um... He has raped me" Emily whispered as she looked down.

"Em. Oh my god! I'm gonna kill him..." Aaron said before he got cut off.

"Em that's ball shit! Just because I'm finally happy you have to lie just to ruin everything" Garcia yelled.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned and faced the direction where the most action was happening.

"What's going on here?" Morgan asked as he walked over and stood next to Garcia.

"Emily is being a bitch! She is making up the most observe things about James" Garcia yelled.

At this moment emily was thinking maybe it was better if they thought she was lying as they wouldn't get hurt. Maybe.

"Em is this true?" Morgan asked.

"No it's not. I'm telling the truth. Come on pen you know me" Emily said.

"I can't believe you Emily. I though I knew you. But I'm not sure anymore because this lie is so hurtful and why your trying to ruin my relationship I do not know. I mean do you like James?" Garcia shouted.

"Okay pen believe what you want. Just shows what a friend you are! And no I do not like James I hate him infact" Emily fired back.

"Just forget ever being friends again Prentiss because you ruining my life that's it. I will see you at work and that's it" Garcia shouted back.

"I warned you Garcia! I have tried to be a friend and help you but I guess as were not friends anymore" Emily said as she stood up and walked to the toilet.

Emily locked herself in the toilet hoping a black hole will appear and it will suck her in. Tears started to fall down her face. One of her good friends doesn't believe her. What was she going to do. Well she could show her the bruises but Garcia will probably think it was from the car crash. What she was going to do emily didn't even know. Finally after 20 minuets she left the bathroom. Everyone was sitting down doing what they usually do and emily sped walked to the back of the plane.

{1 hour later}

Everything was really awkward. They arrived at NYPD at the 12th prescient. Everyone was split in to analyse different areas of this case. Hotch put him with prentiss again.

"Emily is what you said true?" Hotch asked.

"Yes. I wouldn't lie about things like that" Emily explained.

"That day when I found you because you screamed, and you were hurt on the floor. Did James do that?" Hotch asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Yes he did. But It wasn't just him" Emily said after a minuet pause but hotch understood as this was hard for her to say.

"What do you mean it wasn't just him?" Aaron asked.

"He brought his friend. Which meant more pain."Emily said as a tear ran down her face.

"Em it's okay. I believe you." Aaron explained as he put his hand on his knee.

"Aaron what do I do? I can't go through it anymore" Emily said softly.

"How many times has this happened?" Arron asked.

"Umm... 3" Emily said.

"Oh my god! Emily I swear I will kill him. How can he do this to you?" Hotch said as he raised his voice.

"He has the strength and especially with his friend there. There's no way I can win. When it's just him I tried to run upstairs and grab my gun but he caught up with me and grabbed my hair and threw me against the wall" Emily said as she started to cry. Even though she didn't want to cry infront of him she couldn't help it.

Garcia was furious with Emily. How she would lie about something so horrific. Speaking of the topic James was calling her but maybe she should tell him and say how stupid it is.

James couldn't believe emily had told. But lucky for him, no one believed her. But she will get what she deserves. She broke the rules, and payback is in order. As he said he will be the one that ends her life. Maybe her time has run out.
