Chapter 33 - Strip club party

"Simple, I worked here" I said with a shrug as I went behind the bar and I watched as all their faces dropped.

I pulled drinks from behind the bar and slid them down to Ginger and Adeline, the stock would come in tomorrow so Penny wouldn't even notice they were gone plus there was loads of bottles out back.

Ginger started opening them and taking the bottle in her mouth and drinking already, that poor girl was gonna have a bad liver and she was gonna feel it in the morning.

"You worked here?" Jughead asked and I nodded.

"Yeah for eleven years" I said with a shrug as I looked for glasses.

"You worked in a strip club at six?" Toni yelled and I shrugged, I knew it wasn't normal but it's in the past and it's made me so much stronger.

"Yeah but I'm not bothered by it, it made me well me. I'd change it but yano it's my life so might as well get over it" I said with a shrug.

"Where you gonna live now babes?" Adeline said as I had been living here and that's when it hit me that I was now Homeless completely, I looked at her and her smile dropped as she realised I hadn't gotten that far.

"We have a spare room at my house, my older sister polly isn't coming back so you can use that as long as you need?" Betty offered and I looked at her and I didn't wanna intrude.

"Yeah, just till me and jug can find a bigger place for all of us" My dad said with a smile and I looked between them.

" I wouldn't wanna intrude Betty, you've already done enough for me, I'm sure I can find a place" I said and it didn't go down well.

" none sense!, my parents will be thrilled to have someone new in the house plus it means they can ask you a lot of questions about how you survived. They work and own the riverdale register, not that I'm proud of half the things they write in it" Betty said as she looked at her phone and started dialling a number.

I looked at Toni and shook my head.
"I'm not getting out of this am I?" I asked and she just laughed at me and shook her head.

"Hell no Jones" she said as she took her drink and sat down at the bar. She told me about the bar that the serpents had, the Whyte Worm and how they had a bar that she could use some help with since the serpents tend to drink a lot and she can never keep up. I nodded it seemed like something I would enjoy, I looked at Veronica and Archie who were talking quietly in the corner and I raised an eyebrow. What were they talking about?

"Sorted, mum said you can have Polly's room for as long as you, if you'll let them interview you about your life and your struggles when your Better?" Betty said and I looked at my dad who was urging me to take it and I nodded with a smile.

"Thank you a lot Betty, now I definitely owe you one" I said with a giggle as Archie and Veronica came over form there debate.

"My dad can bring your stuff over, there's probably a lot to bring" Archie said I had to disagree.

"Actually no there's not" I said as I walked towards the back door and they all followed me. I opened the door to show all my stuff. They walked in and saw my dresser, boxes and my guitar.

"You play?" Sweetpea asked and I nodded.

"I'm not very good but I try" I say with a small blush and a smile.

"Where's the rest?" My dad asked and I just shrugged.

" I don't have a lot of things" I said simply.

"She does have her baby though" Adeline said with a smirk and I laughed.

"Of course, my baby is my life" I said with a big laugh as everyone looked at me with shock, did they think we meant an actual baby?
"Come on, I'll show you" I said as I walked outside and they all flooded out, there was a lot of serpents here, I walked round to the back of the club, I told everyone to wait at the front as I pulled the dust cover off my bike and I smiled, I missed my baby.

I swung my leg over and started the engine and I smiled as I heard her purr, god I loved this bike. I revved the engine and brought her out front and I smiled as they all looked at my bike in shock, aside from Kevin,Sweetpea,Toni and Fangs.

"This is yours?" Jughead asked as he came closer to it and I laughed, he was looking at it with shock and like it was so precious. It was but it wasn't that precious that I couldn't replace it if I needed too.

"She's my Honda CBR 500F" I said as I looked up at them.
"Wanna come on a ride with me Jug?" I asked with a laugh and he nodded vigorously.
"Come on get on" I said with a laugh as I moved up for him, he got on behind me. I passed him my helmet and he put it on over the top of his beanie, guess it's a jones thing to have a beanie.

I revved my Engine once again and took off out of the club grounds and down onto the road towards the north side and she was a smooth ride, I knew the police didn't check this road so I decided to be a little reckless and send her up to full, I sped up and went down the road like a bullet shot from a bullet, I got towards a main road and started to calm down, jughead had been screaming with joy the whole ride which made me laugh.

I took the circle round and brought us back to the club, jughead got off first and had the biggest smile on his face which made me laugh so much. I caught Sweetpea staring at me with a smile and I smiled back which made him look away as his face went a bright shade of pink.

"Dad said he'll bring your stuff to Betty's, he wants to see you. He was heartbroken when you went missing" Archie said as a truck pulled into the yard of the club and an older Archie stepped out. Oh wow.

Fred Andrews walked towards us and I smiled at him to be polite.
"Hey Poptart" he said and I looked at him with a lot of confusion.
"You use to steal my pop tarts when you were a baby" he said with a laugh which made me giggle

He went inside and began bring my stuff out, I watched it get put on a truck I sighed, the end of an era. That's how this felt.

"Hey LJ, Come on. We have something for you!" Ginger said as she pulled me inside by my wrist and I followed with the serpents behind me. I saw Adeline holding a wrapped present and I rolled my eyes.

"No Addy!" I protested. I knew I'd lose but it was worth the try.

"Come on, we missed your birthday and you'll love it!" She said as she skipped towards me and put it in my hands. I began to tear at the paper and I saw it was a book, a photo album.

"You were very shy when you came to us, but you opened up and this shows your evolution from shy little girl to badass teen" she said with a laugh as I flicked through the pages and looked at the photos. My dad came up behind me and looked down at the photos.
"We also thought it might be nice for the people that didn't see you grow up to look at you change like they were there" she said with a sad smile towards my father.

"Thank you" he said as he looked down at the pictures as I flicked through them, the first time I went behind the bar and broke the vodka bottle, the time I got on the pole and tried to climb it but only fell down.
"That necklace never came off did it?" He said with a laugh as he looked down.

"No it never did or ever will" I said
