"We'll really find out what's going on!" Draco exclaimed. I hit him but not hard. "Stop shouting!" I whisper yelled. "Let's just go". I whispered and began walking. He caught up and we walked side by side. Thank heavens the halls were empty, if we were to be caught..

"When will we go to the library?" I whispered. "Be patient! Soon Y/n soon". Draco whispered. I rolled my eyes, he said that last time..

Up ahead we heard familiar voices, teachers. We peeked around the corner, hiding in the dark seeing light from a candle up ahead with the teachers and staff members gathered around it. I stepped back out of view from the corner we peeked around. "Too close, let's leave Draco". I whispered cautiously. "No no shh". I felt uneasy by this. I sighed afraid and decided to listen in as well. Pulling ever so slightly at Draco's robes in fear we'd be seen.

I could hear just complaints about students like Neville Longbottom. Nothing too suspicious about the teachers, but then I heard.. "I feel like that Y/N is a secret fan of mine, I got more fan mail today and it just made me think of her". LockHart articulated about me. My eyes narrowed and I felt like shouting. I hated this guy! His books were absolute rubbish! "Not in a million year-!" Before I could finish shouting Draco covered my mouth and moved us away from peeking. I could hear whispers and slight footsteps getting closer. He gave me an annoyed glance which I returned with an apologetic one. It was instinctively, I swear, I just hoped this wouldn't ruin our small exploration. As the footsteps got exceedingly close they stopped. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" It was McGonagall's voice. The footsteps slowly started coming towards the corner we were around once again. Draco pushed me aside and stopped her from coming any closer, jumping out into the light revealing himself. What was he doing?! "Draco Malfoy? What are you doing out here so late?! Your supposed to be in your quarters! Who else is with you?" Mcgonagall scolded. I remained hidden listening. "I'm alone. I was just curious about the rumors of the Chamber". Draco lied, aw how sweet. He was taking the heat for me. How foolish. I heard small scuffling and McGonagall's scolding as their footsteps started to fade away. I assumed they left, after I heard the teachers depart and go their separate ways, I proceeded to to carry on. Originally I already had no light but it was easy to see with the moonlight seeping in threw the windows.

After some time of just mindlessly wandering about I took a stop at a small display case. It was a Quidditch award Memorial case with our castles winnings from years ago. "Ah man I suck at sports". I muttered thinking, as a kid in the Muggle world I used to play a game called softball. I was the absolute worst on my team, I feared anytime it was my turn to go up and take a swing. I sighed and remembered the muggle girls on my time always whispering about me, talking about how I always needed an extra hand. I shook the memories out and continued on walking. I should try and get to the restricted section. The library was around here somewhere.

The library should be just around this corner! I sped up my pace and started the sharp turn bumping into someone sending me into a panic. I stumbled back not being able to see who it was falling on my butt, the shadows just about covering the unknown persons face. The anonymous person wielded their wand and turned on a candlelight spell, revealing my face and theirs. It was Professor Snape. My eyes widened. Am I just drawn to him? I always end up around him it seems like. Maybe that was my own fault.

"What are you doing out of your quarters? Miss L/N.. Messing about with Malfoy earlier were you?..". He menacingly interrogated arching one of his brows. His stare, piercing into me like a knife. I rubbed my arm and pathetically stuttered out; "I-I.. I was out on my own. I didn't see Malfoy, I didn't even know he was out". I lied, I couldn't rat him out for lying for me. I could tell he hardly believed me, but he didn't proceed to ask about Malfoy. "And what was your agenda then?" He questioned looking down at me. "J-.. just curious about this Chamber of secrets talk". I said and looked away from him. "Curiousity killed the cat you know". He mused purposely scaring me. I don't know what it was but he made me feel so small like this. "Am I in trouble?" I asked quietly and looked back to him. "Mm.. no, your not in trouble with the school". Snape went on, seemingly debating it. I sighed in relief and ran a hand threw my hair. Oh thank goodness, I loved this school and I don't think I can suffice anymore detentions. "Maybe not with the school but with me". He added in a delayed purposeful manner. My eyes widened. What does that mean? I suppose there would be a catch huh.. I just gaped at him as he went on and said; "During breakfast, Lunch, and your free time before dinner after school, you will come to my class, and stay as detention for the rest of the month". He stated, oh gosh.. "You have disappointed me, and the house of Slytherin, don't go blabbering about this either. You're lucky I won't tell the other staff about this predicament". Snape ended with a scolding look and turned around. "Follow me". He ordered. This was the absolute worst, a whole month? For purely wandering about? I suppose it was the catch of it all, not taking away any points, or telling on me. I followed after him like a duckling, almost failing to keep up, he was so fast. Was this his normal pace? It was really until now I realized how tall he was, intimidating and it went along with his brooding look.

Once I was in my quarters I was left alone. I had no bunk mate either, no one wanted to bunk with me. I changed out of my robes and into my pajamas. "Stupid curiosity". I mumbled and plopped down onto my bed covering up, I just hope this month would go by fast. I closed my eyes, and drifted to sleep..
