Xavier's Pov.

"That's all," I said to Mr. White and he shook my hands before standing to his feet.

"It was nice doing business with you," he said and glanced over to Emily one last time before finally leaving. Turning my head towards the couch, I saw her lying peacefully sleeping.

I walked over to her and cover her small body with a blanket that I normally keep and placed one of the couch's pillow under her head. Looking at her pretty face, I remove a strand of hair from her face.

Knock knock!

A knock on my office door was heard and I got up, walking towards my chair. "Come in," I said and in came one of my female Employees.

"Mr. Stephano, here," she said and placed a file on my desk. I took a look at the file and then back to her. She looked at me smiling while twirling her hair.

"Is there anything else?" I asked raising both my eyebrows and she shook her head no but didn't make a move to leave.

I was about to speak again but she beat me to it. "Xavier, I--"
She began but I cut her off.

"Have some respect for me Ms. Raveira. Don't ever call me by my first name, ever again. Understood?" I warned her and she gulps at me before nodding her head.

"Use your words," I said and she replied with 'yes Mr. Stephano'

I don't and would never let anyone call me by my first name because I feel that it's just disrespectful. When I address then, I don't say their first name, instead, I call them by their last name and they should do the same to me.

So no one dares call me by my first name.

'Except Emily' my conscious said and a smile twitches on my lips thinking about her....again.

"So, what were you going to say?" I asked as I glance at Emily again then back to Mrs. Raveira.

"Umm...I was j-just wondering I-if you would l-like to have lunch with me today" she said and I glanced over at Emily once again.

"I'm sorry but I've already planned to take my 'wife' out for lunch," I said and emphasized on the word wife so that I could make it clear that I'm married.

Her face suddenly turned into a shock expression. "W-wife?" She asked.

"Yes, I'm married," I said and she now had a sad expression on her face.

"To who?" She asked.

"That's my private business Mrs. Raviera. Don't ever do that again. If you have nothing else to say, please leave my office" I said to her and she quickly turned around and left.

Emily's Pov.

I woke up and looked around the room confused about where I am but then remembered that I was in Xavier's office.

I got up from the couch and made my way over to Xavier. He was busy talking on his phone and I didn't want to bother him but I wanted to use the restroom.

Upon seeing me, he said something over the phone and hang up. "You're finally up," he said and I nodded before asking.

"Can I use the restroom?"

"Sure." He replied and I got up before leaving his office.

Okay, where is the restroom?

Walking around the building, people looked at me while others whispered amongst themselves. Okay, I'm lost now.

I looked around the building, helplessly looking for the restroom. I really needed to use it.

"Umm...excuse me, Do you know where the restroom is?" I asked a guy I see standing right in front of me.

"Yes, It's right around--" he suddenly stopped talking and he was looking over my shoulder. Giving him a confused look, I turned around and was met with Xavier.

"I-I have to go," he said and disappeared in just a few seconds.

"What are you doing here?" Xavier asked and I told him that I was looking for the restroom.

"You should have asked me to take you there," he said and snake his hands around my waist before walking me towards the restroom.

"thank you," I said and went inside. After doing my business, I washed my hands and exit and found Xavier waiting for me right where I've left him.

"Where do you want to go for lunch?" He asked as we left his workplace where a lot of his employees were gossiping.
