I look at Shiro as he comes walking in with Pidge behind him.

"How did it go?" I ask

"We got the Lion," Shiro says

I look at Pidge and send her a small smile. She smiles back then heads into a different direction.

"Hey, want to go on a walk while we wait for the other two to get back?" Shiro asks

"Let's go," I say with a smile

"We'll come find you when Lance and Hunk get back," Keith says

I look over at Shiro as we go to walk towards the fields of whatever planet we are on.

"What is it that is bothering you?" He asks as we walk towards one of the many cliffs

I look as he sits down, his legs dangling over the edge of the cliff as I sit next to him. I lay my head against his shoulder.

"How did you know something was bothering me?" I ask

"You really think that a year away from you would erase my memory of your perks." He says

I look at our feet as they just hang over the edge as he just laughs as he sets his head on top of mine.

"I really did miss you," I whisper

"I believe it. I wish I could've come back sooner." He says

"They didn't even tell me..." I start

"Tell you what?" He asks

"That you were presumed dead..." I explain "They let me find out from the news. Same with the Holts."

"You're joking right?" He says

I try to give a light laugh as I slightly shake my head.

"They didn't care enough to inform the families before the news released it." I say

He looks down at me as he just shakes his head. He wipes away one of the stray tears away from my cheek as he sighs. He situated himself to where he is facing me and makes me look at him.

"What else did they tell you?" He asks

"That the ship crashed due to pilot error." I say "They were blaming it on your arm."

He looks at me as he shakes his head again, the white in his hair going the opposite way.

"They probably weren't even going to tell you that I had come back." He says

"They kicked me out of school because I got mad at Iverson," I say

"What did you say?" He asks

"A few things about how I knew you wouldn't put your crew at risk. Then a few things about Keith as well." I say, rubbing the back of my neck

He chuckles as he looks back and I turn around to see two more lions coming towards the castle.

"I still can't believe we are all okay with this." I say "We barely met these people yet we're willing to do half of this stuff."

Shiro shrugs as he looks at me as he stands up, pulling me up with him and starts to walk back towards the castle.

I walk back into the castle and look around as Hunk and Lance come into the room and they shake their heads.

"How did it go?" I ask

"When Allura meant peaceful did she mean infested by the Galra?" Hunk asks

"What do you mean?" Allura asks as she looks at them

"The Galra things were everywhere on that planet," Lance says

Allura looks at the map as she shakes her head.

"But that planet is one of the most peaceful ones that I know of." She says

"The Galra were mining something there," Hunk says

"The crystals." Coran says "They must be looking for a power source and figured out that those crystals are powerful."

"Well, we have the two lions that we need to go get the red one am I correct?" Keith asks "Cause Nat and I have a plan."

"Tashie and Keith actually have a plan? I'm impressed! They always went with the flow back in the older days." Lance says

"Shut it, Lance. You only made it into the Garrison because both Keith and I were kicked out." I reply

Lance smirks as he looks over at Keith and he rolls his eyes.

"So what's this plan of yours?" Shiro asks, ignoring Lance

"Well since you guys need to drive the Lions, Keith and I can go into this ship, as we are also the ones with the most experience when it comes to fighting." I start

"We'll let you guys know when we are ready so we can hurry and get out of there." Keith finishes

"Wait, what about the rest of us?" Lance asks

"If you guys can handle it, you guys are going to be taking care of the outside fleet. You guys are our defense." I say

"We can do that," Shiro says before anyone can argue

"Why do you two get all the action?" Lance asks

"You guys have the Lions that always need a pilot." Allura says "Natasha's plan is honestly the best one and the only one we have."

I look over all of the guys then sigh as I head towards the Green Lion as Pidge comes running to catch up with me.

"Nat, you okay?" She asks

"Yeah, I'm doing okay. I just feel uneasy around these people." I say "And I don't know why because they seem like really good people but..."

"You've always been one to not trust somebody as easily," Keith says as he catches up with us

"Unless it was you." Lance says, catching up with us "But somehow I never was able to get that trust."

"He was a different story." I say as I look at Lance "So were you. You were always the one bullying Keith and I. Therefore that's how you got Cargo Lance when we first went to the Garrison."

"Hey, I was going against you and Keith for the fighter pilot spot, and it was kind of unfair as you guys had Shiro as your mentor," Lance argues

"You had him to you dummy," Keith says

"Well, you know what I mean. You guys lived with that guy." He says

"I'm the only one who lived with him. Keith was just always over at my house." I correct

"Well, still you guys were always together. So you guys probably got more practice." Lance argues

I roll my eyes as I look over at Keith as he just laughs, shaking his head.

"Let's just go get this Lion for Keith so I don't have to fly with the idiot," I say as I send a wink towards Pidge

She laughs as the Green Lion opens its mouth and lets us get into the cockpit.

"Nice place in here," Keith says as he steps on the other side of the chair

"Alright one rule, no PDA." She laughs

"Woah, hold up!" Keith says "Why would there be any PDA?!"

"I know you two, I also have heard about your history." She says

"We just reconnected since I've been radio dead for the past year." I correct again

She shakes her head at the same time as Keith and launches the Lion into the air, following the coordinates that Allura gave her.
