Thirty-five

-Natasha-

I groan before opening my eyes, trying to look around the area that I'm at. I shake my head before I see light brown hair sitting next to the area that I'm laying in.

"You're awake!" He yells

"Matt?" I ask

"Yeah. Sorry for this mess, when I found you, you weren't in the best of shape." Matt says

I look around before shaking my head.

"Where is my lion?" I ask

"What?" He asks

"My lion. The purple lion!" I yell before I get into a sitting position

He looks at me before frowning. He starts to shake his head before his eyes start to widen.

"You're the purple paladin." He says

"Yeah..." I start "Where is my lion?"

"It wasn't anywhere near your location. I can see if any of the rebels I know can find it somewhere." Matt says

"I need to get ahold of the others. they are probably worried about me. I haven't checked in." I start

"Natasha, calm down. Take a deep breath. I'll give you a way to get ahold of the paladins, but it can't be long or they will find our location." Matt says

I look at his brown eyes before I slowly start to try and even out my breathing.

"If they have my lion... if the Galra has my lion, this isn't good for anyone!" I say

"Nat, we'll find a way to get your lion back. I promise you that. But you need to heal up first." Matt instructs

"I need to let the others know that I'm okay first," I say

"Fine. But then we need to get out of this location." Matt says "My ship is hidden in the forest. I'll meet you there."

He hands me a phone looking thing before I watch him walk into the planet's forest. I sigh before typing a few commands in. I bring it up to my ear before I turn my back to the forest.

"Hello?" Somebody asks

"Hey Lance, I know you probably don't expect to hear from me, but I need you to get this to Keith and fast, I don't have a lot of time," I say

"Well, Mullet isn't here. He's with the blade, but I can get you Shiro..." Lance says "You didn't know!"

"I know now. He's fine, but you need to hurry, I can't be here long." I say again

I hear panting before a quick conversation.

"Ragna?" I hear my brother's voice say

I almost let out a sob before I gather myself.

"You're the only one who I can handle calling me that." I try to laugh "But I just needed to let you guys know that I'm okay. I think Lotor and the Galra have the purple lion. I can't tell you much more than that. I have to go, I love you guys."

I quickly hang up before running towards the forest, looking for Matt's ship.

-Shiro-

I look at the phone before handing it back to Lance.

"Shiro?" Pidge asks "Was that Nat?"

"Yeah. She's okay but she lost the purple lion." I say

"What? How did she lose the lion?" Hunk asks

"I don't know. She wasn't able to say much." I explain "She managed to get out a status report then had to go. She couldn't even tell me who she was with."

Everyone looks at me before I sigh, rubbing my hands together.

"I'll go get ahold of the blade to let them know that we got news on Nat," I say

"You know that you are going to get questioned by Keith," Pidge says

I nod before I walk over towards my seat before typing things into the computer, waiting for the blade to accept the hailing. I watch as the others start to leave the room before I see Kolivan answer.

"Is Keith there with you?" I ask "I need to talk to him."

"I'm right here Shiro. Something happen?" Keith asks

"We heard from Nat." I start "She's alive, but she doesn't have her lion so she can't get back to us."

"What do you mean she doesn't have her lion?" Keith asks

"She thinks that Lotor or the Galra has it," I explain

"Did she say where she was?" Keith asks

"No, she said she couldn't or it would put them both in danger," I say

Keith nods before looking away.

"If we hear anything else while you're away, we'll let you know," I say

He nods before I watch the screen disappear.

I look back at the door before walking towards the hangars, heading towards the Black Lion.

-Natasha-

I look out the ship's windows, watching as Matt is flying us towards another planet.

"You know that they are looking for you." I start

"The Galra?" He asks "Yeah, they're looking for all of us."

"No, the paladins," I say

"Well, I don't really have the time," Matt says

"You still don't trust me?" I ask

"This is the second time that I've seen you while you were with Lotor." He explains

"Well, the first time was because I didn't know what I was doing or who I could trust." I comment "This time it was because I was trying to help Voltron get inside ears other than the blade. I was able to get more information in certain areas due to my royalty status."

He looks at me before he looks back towards the front of the ship, watching as the planet gets closer. I look out the window when I see a purple blast heading towards us.

"Watch out!" I yell

Matt quickly moves the ship out of the way before I stand up, heading towards the back.

"What's shooting at us?" Matt yells

"The purple lion!" I yell "I don't know who's piloting it though!"

I hurry back over to the controls when I see the purple lion flying past us.

"I'm going to try something!" I say

"Do it fast!" Matt says

I hurry over to my seat before sitting down, closing my eyes. I reach out to the purple lion, trying to get into its head.

"Who's piloting you girl?" I whisper

I feel a rush before I open my eyes to see Lotor sitting in the seat of the cockpit.

"No!" I yell before I rush back into my own body

"What?" Matt asks

"They have Lotor piloting my lion." I say

Matt looks at me before dodging more hits.

I watch as the purple lion stops before I watch it fight against something unknown before Lotor makes it fly the other way.

"What was that about?" Matt asks

"The lion wanted to come back to me but Lotor wasn't letting it." I start "Lotor somehow formed a bond with my lion over the time I was gone. How long was I out?"

"I don't know how long you had been there before I found you. But once I got you inside and healing you were out for maybe a day." He explains

I shake my head as I look out where the lion disappeared.

"I need to warn the others. You need to warn the other rebels that I'm not the one in control of the purple lion." I say
