The Mistress Of Sound (A Fairy Tail Fanfiction)

Prologue

A/N: Hello everyone,this is my very first fanfiction. I may not be an experienced writer but that won't keep me from writing this story. I cannot say when I will update the chapters but I will write the chapter when I can.

Narrator POV

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

A hand reached to the alarm clock and pressed the button to stop it from beeping. The person is a 17 year old high school student. He is also an otaku. This boy loved Fairy Tail and has kept up with everything both the manga and anime. He even bought some merchandise.

This young man did his morning routine and left the house to head to school. Waiting for him in front of his house was a girl who is his childhood friend. The two of them usually walk to school together.

*Yawn*

"Ok how long did you stay up this time?" The girl asked

"I don't remember." The boy responded "maybe up to about 2 in the morning."

"SERIOUSLY! Sleep is really important you know!" the girl shouted "So promise me that you'll get some sleep. You can't always just sleep in class, how will you learn!?'

"Fine fine you win. I will get some sleep tonight I promise." The boy said reassuring his friend.

"What are you doing that keeps you up so late anyway?"

"Mostly just binge watching anime."

"Jeez what am I gonna do with you?"

The two of them were walking and talking while on there way to school and arrived just in time before class started.

~After School~

The two kids decided to walk home together since there homes were not too far apart. The protagonist friend was not a huge anime fan and did not know much about it. Although she was always willing to watch it with him whenever she came over to his house.

As the two of them were walking down the sidewalk they were talking until they heard a scream coming from up the block. There was a man running through the crowd of people heading in their direction. As the man got closer they had noticed he was holding a knife in his hands running straight towards the girl but before he could make contact the boy pushed her out of the way to protect her from getting stabbed. Once the man had stabbed the boy he continued running in the same direction and dropped the knife on the ground. The boy had collapsed and blood started coming from the wound the knife inflicted.

My POV

I collapsed to the ground after getting stabbed in my right side. I heard a voice calling out my name over and over again in desperation. I slowly opened my eyes to barely see my childhood friend in front of me.

"Thank goodness you're alive, don't worry there's an ambulance coming just hang in there!" the distraught girl shouted.

"No...I don't... think....i'm...gonna...make it."I said slowly while catching my breath.

"Just don't talk you'll be just fine. Just hang in there."

"Listen I wrote a will of the things I want done and to give to others. Its taped to the bottom of my box of fanart."

"Why are you still talking just save your strength.The ambulance is on its way so hang in there...please!"

"Even though it makes us sad all living thing will die eventually." The boy said. "So please... make sure that you live on for me to."

"Don't make a fairy tail reference now. This is serious so don't joke around!"

I then closed my eyes as my body began to grow colder due to the constant blood loss The last thing I heard was the voice of my childhood friend shouting my name before I embraced death.

I was surrounded in darkness. There was nothing to see. Nothing to hear. Suddenly there was a flash of light. I was standing in a white room. There was nothing as far as my eyes could see.

"Where am I?" I said to no one in particular. "Am I in the after life?"

I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU.

The voice that spoke seemed to speak inside my mind like way of telepathy. "Hey is there someone else here?"

IF YOU HAD A CHANCE TO LIVE AGAIN WOULD YOU TAKE IT?

"Of course! Who would pass up an opportunity like that!"

VERY WELL IN THAT CASE I WILL REINCARNATE YOU INTO ANOTHER WORLD?

"What!? Really!? Then can it be a world of my choosing?"

YES BUT IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR NEW LIFE I WILL TAKE SOMETHING FROM YOU IN EXCHANGE.

"Make sense...there's always some kind of condition.

IT IS CALLED EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE, THERE IS BALANCE IN ALL THINGS YOU KNOW.

"Yeah I know, same principle as in Fullmetal Alchemist. As long as I get to keep my previous life memories I'm fine."

WELL, I ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO TAKE IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR NEW LIFE. NOW TELL ME THE WORLD YOU WANT TO BE RE~BORN INTO.

"Alright...I want you to reincarnate me into the world of fairy tail!"

OK THEN BUT IN EXCHANGE FOR THIS YOU WILL LOSE...

"Yeah yeah can you just tell me after you reincarnate me? Sorry I'm just really excited that I get the chance to live in the world of fairy tail."

WELL BY THEN YOU WILL HAVE ALREADY FOUND OUT BUT FINE , SINCE YOUR SO EAGER.

DON'T MENTION IT. I DON'T DO THIS FOR EVERY SOUL THAT COMES HERE.

Before I go I just want to make sure. Your god right?"

"In that case can I ask you to watch over my childhood friend for me?"

VERY WELL I WILL LOOK AFTER YOUR FRIEND.

"Thank you."

Then there was a flash of light and the first thing I heard was a scream and felt something on my check. It seem like I am a baby now. I was crying and screaming but I didn't know why. Then I heard a man's voice which was most likely my father shouting happily the words. "ITS A GIRL!"

When I heard those words I was stunned. Inside my head I screamed. "NA...NA...NAAAANIIIIIIIII!"

"I Can't believe it am I seriously a girl now!!! This means I will have to live my life as a girl in the world of fairy tail. I guess in exchange for my new life... he decided to take away my dream of creating a harem by making me a girl. Well at least I'm in the world of Fairy Tail now. A world filled with magic and adventure."

"What should we name her."The father asked the mother.

"Her name is Aiko...Aiko Akiyama."
