Chapter 17: Quietus

After a good nights sleep I ate breakfast and headed out. The location of the client is at a place called Fallugia Town. It took me a few hours to get there by carriage. Of course I had Senan with me as well. While we made our way to the Mayors home who was our client Senan made a comment.

"Why do I feel like we have been here before?" Senan asked

"Thats because we have." I responded "Remember Fallugia Town is the place we came to defeat the bandits. I think it happened about a couple years after we joined fairy tail."

"How do you remember that?"Senan asked

"I have all the jobs I've taken written down and sorted based on rank. I also wrote the city where the client was." I informed her "i've  been doing this ever since we've joined fairy tail."

I entered a thinking poster "I wonder if Its still the same mayor?"

"I highly doubt it. that was over five years ago." Senan said "Do you even remember his name?"

"Nope." I said sternly "I may forget some names but I never forget a face." 

Once we arrived we headed straight to the town hall to meet the Mayor. Once inside I looked around.

"Thats strange."

"What is?"Senan asked

"There is supposed to be a secretary manning the counter. It shouldn't be empty."

"Maybe they're on break."Senan said uncertainly 

"Even so we should look around to see if the mayor is around here somewhere." I said

"Good Idea." 

The two of us started walking down the hallway until we found the mayors office. I grabbed the nob and started to open the door. As I started to open it I heard a loud moan from behind the door and before I could realize what was happening the door was already opened. Inside the office I saw what I assumed the mayor and a women who I assumed was his partner doing the deed.

The woman shrieked when she noticed us and both her and the man immediately seperated and covered themselves up.

"Sorry for the intrusion!" I shouted slamming the door then sprinting back to where the front desk was. I could tell that my face was red from how hot it felt. I collapsed onto my knees and tried to get that image out of my head.

"Aiko are you okay?"Senan asked me. 

"No i'm not. That was the last thing I EVER wanted to see." I collected myself and sat on a bench nearby and waited. I was spacing out a lot lately. I should have been able too stop opening the door when I heard it. I'm wearing my NCH which reduces my hearing to a normal persons but I still should have been able to hear it before hand. If I had my headphones off I probably would have heard what was happning before I went to his room and even more than that. 

Not much time passed before the same women from before came to the front desk. 'wait a sec...he was doing it with the secretary?' 

My face became hot again and I burried it in my hands.

"Um" the lady said which caused me to look at her "The Mayor will see you now."

The secratary looked really embarressed in being caught in the act. Her hair was messed up and her clothes looked like they were put on in a hurry. I just got up and left walking back to the Mayors office. Once I arrived I opened the door and saw the mayor sitting calmly at his desk. Once I actually saw his face it seems he is not the mayor from before. He seemed like a middle age man.
