The rest of Nadia's holiday went by in a blur. The day after their New Year's party Lily, Marlene and Mary went back home while each of the Marauders nursed their massive hangovers, this time even Nadia's tablets being rather useless.

Neither Fleamont nor Euphemia were surprised by their states. When they returned home late into the night from their own celebration of the New Year they found all of the children asleep in the living room, some spread around the free spaces on the floor while others tucked together on the sofas and armchairs. The two parents weren't sure what to do first; laugh at Lily and Marlene as they snuggled up together in one of the big armchairs or fawn over Nadia, Sirius and Remus who had ended up sharing the sofa with Nadia leaning on Sirius's shoulder with his arm around her and Remus long legs spread over both their laps.

But after that painful first day of the year 1977, the other four went by as if they were one. James had made a point of putting Nadia's new broom to use, and each one of their mornings had been spent learning the basics of the sport which the Potter boy was so passionate about. Nadia wondered why he was so adamant on being an Auror when it was obvious he had the skills to be a professional player.

A person did not have to be an expert on Quidditch to see where Nadia's skills lay, and it made James more than excited as he realized he could actually have a goal aside from teaching Nadia the love of Quidditch. Adam would be leaving next year, meaning his position will become available, and Nadia's skills on a broom were proving to be good enough to make her next year's Seeker. Despite them trying to convince her, Nadia doubted she would be good enough to actually get on the team by next year, but James made a promise to himself that he'll make it happen, and he already had a good idea as to how.

But due to his already rigorous training, instead of carrying her luggage with her as she moved through Platform 9 ¾ Nadia had forced Sirius to enchant it so it would follow her without having to actually touch it. Her arms were aching, as well as her legs and she couldn't wait to find a seat on the train. Aside from a seat, she also needed to find Nicholas. But first, goodbyes were in order.

"Oh be safe, all of you. And you two! I don't want to be getting any letters telling me you're causing too much trouble." Euphemia said as she clutched on to both Sirius and James in her tight hug.

"So you're not saying that we can't cause a little bit of trouble?" James questioned his mother with a mischievous smile on his face as he craned his neck to look at her face, although perhaps he shouldn't have because the action gave him perfect view of the scolding look she was giving him.

"Euphemia, I don't know why you even bother anymore." Fleamont said from his spot beside his wife with an amused smile on his face as he watched the scene. Euphemia finally let go of the two boys, allowing him to move in next while she moved on to the other three teenagers standing with the Potter family.

"Nadia, don't let them get you into trouble. I know you three can keep the two of them in check." Euphemia said as she stood in front of Nadia, Remus and Peter, her words making the three let out a small laugh.
