"Did she explain what was so urgent?" Lily asked as she, Nadia, and Marlene made their way down the path which lead from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade. It was the first time they weren't going with the boys since the start of the year, but the letter Nadia received requested them to come alone.

"You don't think they broke up do you?" Marlene asked worriedly.

"That's impossible, they've been in love since they first laid eyes on each other." Lily spoke thoughtfully. Marlene's suggestion seemed preposterous in her eyes.

"I don't think that's it. In his last letter Adam was still talking about the wedding and everything. He was so excited." Nadia pointed out. She too was quite curious why Eliza was so eager to see them that she had come all the way to Hogsmeade.

"You don't think she wants to break up with him do you?" Marlene asked again.

"Oh Merlin, would you stop being so pessimistic?" Lily scolded the blonde. Just because Eliza wanted to see them as soon as possible didn't have to mean something was wrong. Did it?

"We'll get an answer soon enough." Nadia stated as she walked up to the door of Madam Puddifoot's and opened it, allowing Lily and Marlene to pass through before she did. Once the three girls entered the tea shop their eyes scanned over the crowd of students occupying the tables in search of the Asian woman.

It didn't take them long to spot her as the older girl stood from where she had been sitting and waved to catch their attention. With big smiles on their faces, the three girls rushed over, pulling Eliza into a tight group hug.

"Oh it's so good to see you all, I've missed you since school started again." Eliza spoke with a large smile on her face as the four of them pulled apart and took their seats at the table. "How have you been? How's Sirius? And how is it being Head Girl? And Marlene how is the food?" Eliza's questions made the three girls give out a laugh of amusement.

"I think the elves just know it's my last year and are working much harder because of it. The food is better than ever." Marlene was the first to reply, her eyes taking on a dazed look as she thought of that day's delicious breakfast.

"Ah, Marlene, it's good to know you haven't changed one bit." Eliza teased making Lily and Nadia laugh again while Marlene glared at Eliza jokingly, offended by the insults of her love of food. "What about you two? Anything new since the last letter you sent me? Are you and Sirius still the it-couple?"

"Well if that's what you want to call it, but somehow I think we'll be dethroned quite soon." Nadia said with a smirk as she glanced at Lily who shook her head in annoyance.

"Honestly, just because we've gotten closer lately doesn't mean we're going to start dating." Lily dismissed the claims. It was true, she and James were in a much different place than they were at the start of the school year and a lot of it could be prescribed to that night in the classroom. They still haven't told the rest of the Marauders the details of their conversations, but ever since that night, something had changed in their friendship, and Lily couldn't be quite sure what it was.
