The Headmaster's office was slightly cramped. While it was quite a big room, having eight students in there as well as the Headmaster himself made the whole situation slightly unusual, especially since the majority of them didn't really know why they were in there in the first place.

"Now I understand that many of you may be curious as to why I have called you here." The Headmaster began to speak as he took a seat behind his desk. His words were met with a chorus of 'Yes's.

"Not really." Nadia said jokingly earning herself a couple of confused looks from her friends. She was slightly curious, but the girl was pretty certain of the reason she had guessed on her way towards the office.

"Wait, you're telling me you let me worry about being called to the Headmaster's office with these four buffoons while you knew why?" Lily sent a small glare towards Nadia.

"Hey! I thought you loved me?" James questioned, mocking offence at the words spoken by his girlfriend.

"My love for you makes you no less of a buffoon." Lily replied calmly, making the girls who stood beside her let out a small chorus of laughter. Even Professor Dumbledore bore a small smile on his face as he observed the interaction.

"You needn't worry Ms Evans, you are not here because of the trouble Mr Black, Potter, Pettigrew and Lupin continue to cause." The headmaster spoke in a reassuring voice, his statement making the boys mentioned sheepishly look down to their shuffling feet.

"So why are we here Professor?" Camille was the one to ask, finally letting her own curiosity get the best of her as she spoke up. Her question made all eyes turn to the Headmaster as they awaited his answer.

"All of you are here because I have a proposition for you." Dumbledore said mysteriously, making the group share confused and intrigues looks amongst themselves. A couple also saw the small smile on Nadia's face as by now she was sure of what would come next.

"All of you are aware of the rising threat in our world; many of you have experienced it first hand, and we all know all of you have fought against it at least once." Dumbledore began his explanation, the students listening with interest. "Years ago, I created the Order of the Phoenix, a group of people from all professions, interests and talents, to help fight this ongoing war and protect the Wizarding Community from You Know Who and his followers."

Things were becoming clearer to the group.

"Something I've known for quite some time now, and has continuously been pointed out to me throughout this year, is that the eight of you compose a group of the best students in your generation. And because of that I wanted to extend the offer of joining the Order of the Phoenix once you've left this school." Dumbledore finally said.

"Wait... You knew about this?" James was the first to break the silence that had fallen upon the room as he turned to Nadia with a surprised look on his face.
