"Daaa!" Kemoni yelled as she stomped her little feet around while I tried to unpack the boxes. After a few days of deciding, we ended up taking the apartment and finally moved in
"Girl hush. Your daddy went outside for a little bit. You can wait"
She stopped walking and looked at me before fussing again
"Who you getting loud with?!" I yelled back at her and she smiled then dropped to the ground on her butt
"Ion know who told y'all to move all the way across the damn state" I could hear Ben say as the door opened and both him and Kentrell walked inside
"Nigga we only an hour away. Stop complaining"
"Forreal" I butted into their conversation "Bet y'all still gone manage to be over here everyday"
"You damn right. Ain't that right Kemoni"
Ben started dancing and Kemoni smiled as she watched then crawled over to Kentrell, standing up before reaching for him. Kentrell picked her up and she watched Ben again, laughing now
"She need that nappy ass head done" I told Kentrell and he looked at her hair and smacked his lips
"My baby hair ain't nappy. She got good hair like her daddy"
Ben stopped smiling and looked at Kentrell then over at me "so who gone tell em?"
I laughed and Kentrell slapped ben's arm causing Kemoni to do the same
"Ben I thought Jamie rode up here with you. Where she went?"
"She went to the store real quick with Bryson"
"Lil fatass got hungry" Kentrell chuckled
"You gone stay off my son witcho demon seed of a daughter"
"Y'all gone stop callin my baby bad. She'on bother nobody"
"She bothers me" I held my hand up and Kentrell twisted up his lip
"We ain't ask you"
I stuck my middle finger up at him and grabbed another box. As I opened the box, I began going through the stuff and laughed when I saw the pink gun Kentrell got me once for my birthday
"Where you been?" I said as I looked at the gun and sat it on the chair beside me then went through the box again while Ben and Kentrell talked
"Ben!" I called out to him after a while "tell Jamie to pick me up something to eat on her way back"
"I'll think about it"
I looked at him some type of way and Kentrell shook his head
"Please don't play with that girl bout no damn food"
"Listen..." I told him as I held up the gun "wait till I get Kentrell to load this thing back up. I ain't showing no mercy to y'all hoes"
"Noel shutcho soft ass up" Ben laughed "you wouldn't even shoot a damn fly"
Kemoni started smiling and tried to get down so Kentrell put her on the ground. She walked over to where I was and reached for the gun
"No. Take yo Kentrell lookin ass back back over there cause you ain't getting it"
She tried to climb up on my lap so she could get to it
"You don't understand what no mean?" I asked her and she looked back at Kentrell, poking her bottom lip out and let out a cry. I sat the gun down and picked her up, laughing while Kentrell walked over to where I sat
