"Elena you bringing yo ass back to Baton Rouge! The hell wrong with that boy!?" Momma ranted while we FaceTimed her while we were on the way to Donovan's place to get her things
"I know ma. I'm coming back" Elena laughed a little and I rolled my eyes
"I did not call you to hear you and Elena talk ma!" I fussed
"The hell you call for then?"
"MY SON! I wanna see my baby. I miss him"
She smacked her lips "oh child please. Nasir ain't thinking bout y'all. We good over here, ain't that right booga?" Momma said to Nasir, who was just laying on her looking around while she put him in the camera and I frowned up my face
"Stop calling my child that"
"Girl bye..."
I could hear glass break and Kaleb started laughing in the background
"This boy... Noel ima call you back later"
I rolled my eyes "Okay" I responded before hanging up as she started to fuss at Kaleb
After last night elena skipped on the actual grand opening and decided to just let the store run like usual so we stayed up there for a few minutes then I rode with her so she could drop her car off and get her stuff and Kentrell is supposed to meet us over there
Once the car ride was quiet again, I looked at Elena
"So you ain't gone finish telling me about what the hell you and Kd got going on? And how y'all end up fucking"
"It wasn't nothing Noel. It just ...happened" she shrugged and then let out a sigh
"Well since it juSt hApPeNeD what y'all gone do. Cause if you wanna be honest, I don't want you to rush into another relationship"
"I'm not and we already discussed this. I'm just not mentally ready for another relationship right now"
"Good" I replied as we pulled into the driveway of the house. Surprisingly, Donovan's car was there
"Oh lord" Elena sighed as she parked the car and I shook my head
"Girl ain't nothing to be worried bout" I looked in the mirror and saw Kentrell pulling up behind us "and look at that, there go trell"
We got out the car and she grabbed all of her stuf from inside as all four doors on the truck Kentrell was driving opened. The whole gang hopped out of the car and I laughed as they did so
"Look at y'all hopping out like top flight security" I joked and they all smacked their lips while I was too busy cracking up
"Noel shutcho stupid ass up" baby joe slapped me upside the head
"Paw patrol is on a roll" I continued to crack while Kentrell laughed
"You so damn corny"
"Where Kemoni it?" I asked as my laughter died down and I wiped a tear from my eye.
"She was sleep so I left her with liyah"
"Knowing damn well she gone wake up mad as shit when she don't see her daddy"
"Well come on cause hopefully we won't have no problem here so it won't take long"
We followed Elena up to the door and she walked right into the house.
"Aye this shit nice as hell" Beenie said as he looked around
I looked at the wall and actually noticed it was nothing but pictures of Donovan. "This boy really is full of himself"
Kentrell looked at the pictures and sucked his teeth before slapping one of the pictures off the walls for it shattered against the ground
"The hell" I could hear Donovan say as he walked in our direction, stopping as he came face to face with us.
"Why y'all here?"
"I'm here to get my stuff" Elena explained to him as she walked straight past him and he turned to look at her
"What?"
"You heard me" she stopped walking and looked at him "I'm done Donovan. I can't do this nomore. We should've never rushed into this"
"So now that yo people out here you done and all this other shit but before all this you was perfectly fine"
"You was never home long enough to know how I felt!"
Donovan chuckled and rubbed his chin while Ben and baby joe both walked past him and went towards the kitchen like they lived here
"And the fact that you basically threw out that I was nothing without you, that crossed the line and I'll go back to being nothing. That's perfectly fine with me" Elena reached into her pocket and pulled out the engagement ring then handed it to him along with the keys to her car
I looked at Elena some type of way "Girl- you bout crazy as hell. I wouldn't have gave it back"
"No he can keep it. I don't need none of it. The car, all the shit YOU brought. The only thing I won't let you take is my store"
"Ion need that damn store Lena. To be honest you can have all this shit back cause you need it more than I do. Just getcho stuff and get out my damn house" he rudely replied as he dropped the stuff out of his hand and walked off, going out to the back
"Bet" she softly responded before walking off, going upstairs. I picked the ring and the keys up off the floor and looked at the ring then at Kentrell
"My ring better look nicer than this"
