It's been a few weeks since I had my baby girl and even though she was doing good, I still couldn't bring her home just yet which I hated. Therefore, since I didn't have my daughter at home I had no reason to sit around the house so shortly after I was released from the hospital I went back to work
"How's everything going at the store so far?" Noel asked as we sat on FaceTime while she played in Nasir's hair as he leaned back on her probably watching tv
"It's going great. Numbers are already looking good. They can look better though"
"Give it some time. It's only been open a couple of weeks.... did you go up to the hospital to see Kennedi today yet?"
"I went this morning and I'm going back later with Kd. He wanted to cry like a bitch cause I went without him this morning so..."
I could hear tip laugh as she walked from the back with a box and sat it on the register
"Did you call in those people for the interview like I asked?"
She nodded "yes Lena I got this. Calm down. They should be here in a few"
I slapped her arm and she laughed again
"Interviews for what?" Noel asked me and Tip looked in the camera
"She's tryina replace me"
Noel rose her brow and I rolled my eyes
"No I'm not. Don't listen to this bitch. I'm hiring one or two more people"
"Oh. Well I got somebody that need a job so she can buy her daddy a new ring" Noel told me as she flipped the camera around and showed Kemoni sitting in the other chair looking sad with her finger in her mouth while she watched tv
"What she do to his ring? And why she look sad?" I asked with a laugh. Noel flipped the camera around to show her face again, this time she was laughing a little
"She flushed one of kentrell's rings down the toilet and now he pissed"
My mouth fell agape and I could see Kentrell walking from down the hall in the background with a mug on his face. Noel turned around to look back at him
"You okay baby? You want me to buy you another ring?"
"Fuck out my face mane" he mumbled while coming to sit beside her and laid his head on her. Nasir looked back at Kentrell some type of way and I laughed while walking to the back
"You know what, you go ahead and handle your 3 kids, I'll talk to you later"
"Yeah lemme handle my 3 babies" Noel replied while wiping something off of kentrell's forehead and I hung up
