"You gave my brother a baby for his birthday. Look at how happy this nigga is" Ben said to me and we both looked at Kentrell. He laid back on the bed beside me with Nasir still asleep on his chest. I touched his tiny head full of hair and smiled at Kentrell
"I promise you I'm forreal this time. This is my LAST one"
"Yeah okay"
I rolled my eyes and focused on my son. Even though he ended up coming a whole twelve days early, he was still perfect. The only bad thing was that he came out looking like a spit image of Kentrell, which was exactly what I knew was gonna happen. While I touched his hand, he grabbed onto my finger and held it tight which made me like my bottom lip out
"My baby's gone be a mommas boy"
"That's a lie." Kentrell looked at me some type of way and the door opened to the room
"Where's my nephew?" I could hear Elena's voice and when she walked into the room I damn near tried to jump out of the bed,
"Lena!"
She laughed and walked straight over to me, giving me the biggest hug
"Oh my god I miss you so much."
"I miss you too! You know I had to hop on the first plane out here when you text me and told me you was in labor"she responded then looked at Kentrell "and of course he had to be the one holding him"
"You already know" Kentrell smiled and Elena laughed
"Happy Birthday you asshole"
"Preciate it"
"Kemoni got some real competition on her hands now" Jamie said out of the blue and I laughed
"And I dare her bad ass to hit on my son. I'll pop that lil butt"
" Why she can't? She be beating on everybody else sons. Especially Kaleb" Ben asked and liyah agreed
"Moni do be beating the shit outta Kaleb"
"Let her touch Nasir. She gone have to fight me then"
"And you gone have to fight me" Kentrell said as he looked at me. I shrugged
"I beatcho ass a couple of times before. Ain't shit new"
He smacked his lips and the door opened again. Momma walked in some then held the door open while she had my food, a mashed potato bowl from kfc, in her hands. A few moments later Kemoni took her time walking into the room holding onto some Happy Birthday balloons while she looked around, most likely looking for Kentrell, and Derek followed behind holding a cake making Kentrell laugh. Behind Derek was Dana, who was carrying a sleeping Kaleb
When Kemoni saw Kentrell on the bed beside me, she started smiling from ear to ear and walked over to the bed. Ben helped her up and he let go of the balloons in her hand, luckily Ben caught them, and crawled all over the bed to get to Kentrell. That's when she saw Nasir and her face immediately twisted up
"Don't look at my son like that" I told Kemoni while I grabbed the bag from momma and she wasted no time grabbing Nasir from Kentrell, then gave him a long ass hug telling him happy birthday and a bunch of stupid stuff. Once Nasir was gone Kentrell hurried on kentrell's lap and he smiled
"Hey Mama. I missed you"
"Tell daddy you got him a cake, some balloons and a card for his birthday" momma said to Kemoni and she looked over at the balloons Ben now has tied to the leg of the table
