"Look at this shit" I told liyah as I showed her my Starbucks cup "they spelled my shit all wrong. How hard is it to spell Noel?"
Liyah laughed and shook her head as we walked out of the mall. She continued to push kemoni's stroller while I wobbled my fat 8 months along ass beside her. My back was starting to feel sore and I think I walked enough for the day so we were about to head to Dana's house and bother her since it's been a few weeks since Kentrell and us have seen any of our friends and family. We were busy getting ready for this boy who was due in like two weeks.
Once we reached liyah's car she picked Kemoni up and put her in her car seat then folded her stroller down and put it in the trunk before we both got in the car
"Mamas you ready to go see auntie and ya cousin?" I asked Kemoni as I turned around to her and she just looked at me with her hand on her cup and her other hand in her curly hair. She had her natural mug on her face and once liyah looked back at her as well, her eyes traced back and forth between the both of us like the fuck y'all looking at
"Ion like that child" I told liyah and she laughed while starting the car
"You sick of her, wait till this one comes"
She drove out of the parking spot and I sighed
"I already know he gone look like Kentrell. That's the problem" I rubbed my stomach "he need to come on. Mommas ready to hold you baby"
"Y'all ain't thought of no name yet? Y'all had kemoni's as soon as y'all found out she was a girl"
"That's because this is gonna be his first and only boy. I was thinking about using my initials for him since Kemoni got Kentrell's, but then again I think it'll be cute to make him a jr especially if he comes out looking exactly like Kentrell"
"True... well y'all got like two weeks to decide"
"I know" I huffed and put my hand on my head "these 9 months went by too fast"
"I bet so. That's Whatchu get for hiding it from us the first 4 months"
"I was scared. Leave me alone"
"Scared for what?"
"Girl Kemoni was only like 8 or 9 months old when I found out. And people already stay talking shit about me cause me and Trell still together so I know they got a lot to say now" I muttered the last part but I guess liyah could still hear me
"Girl FUCK THESE PEOPLE. You got us, Dana, yo momma and Derek. We the only ones that matter. But one thing I will say is you was wrong for waiting for so long to tell Kentrell"
"Liyah we wasn't talking"
"So. But at the end of the day that still is the father and the minute you found out either you should've man up and tell him or get Dana to tell him. Or something shit"
I rolled my eyes and she smiled "Yeah you'on like what I gotta say huh? That's cause I'm right"
"Fuck you. We good now"
"And I'm glad. Nobody knew how to function without y'all together"
I laughed and shook my head dramatic ass
"I'm forreal though. None of us really hung together cause Kentrell would feel weird with us around and you ain't there and plus everybody was all boo'd up. Now we all can go back to normal"
"True. And trust me, when this baby drop we got 3 months of making up to so"
"I bet so"
We both laughed and I could hear Kemoni in the back talking to herself so I turned to look at her and indeed she was while playing with her cup. When she realized I was looking at her she aggressively slammed her hands down "DADA!"
"Girl fuck yo damn daddy" I yelled back at her and she started laughing
"Kemoni gone beatcho ass talkin bout her daddy like that"
"Her and her daddy can catch these hands. They rated E for everybody"
Once liyah laughed again Kemoni decided to be a little copycat and laugh along with her, showing her little teeth. After a few minutes we arrived at Dana's house and to my surprise she and Kaleb were sitting outside. Dana was sitting on the phone while Kaleb was dressed in a light jacket, trying to ride his bike
"Dana why you ain't helping my nephew? He over there struggling" I told her as we got out the car and liyah grabbed Kemoni. Dana looked over at me and pointed to Kaleb
"You help his lil mean ass then"
I shrugged and walked over to him with a smile
"Yo momma won't help you ride the bike?" I asked as I touched the bike handle and he gave me a sour look
"NO!"
I frowned up my face and backed away from him "well fuck you too then"
Kaleb stuck his tongue out at me and I pushed him upside the head before walking over to Dana
"Noel you fat as shit" Dana told me as she rubbed my belly and I frowned
"Fuck you, you bald bitch"
As Dana laughed I could hear talking next door as people walked outside. It was Maya and Brea
"I need to hit the gym so my waist can be snatcheddd for the summer" I could hear maya say before looking over at us and rolled her eyes. When Brea looked she acted like she was about to freeze up for some reason, especially when she saw my huge belly.
I haven't seen this girl since that trifling shit they did to Kentrell and I know they say forgive and forget but I won't forgive. I'll just forget.... after I beat both of their asses
"The hell she lookin' at?" Dana asked extremely loud, not on purpose, because her dumb ass was still on the phone at the same time.
"Shit ion know" liyah shrugged and I felt a tap on my leg. I looked down and saw Kemoni reaching for me to pick her up so I did, struggling some
"Now you know Kentrell will beatcho ass if he saw you picking that fat ass lil girl up" Dana told me and Kemoni laid head on me
"And you know he'll beatcho ass for calling his daughter fat"
"I been waiting 3 years to beat his ass. Tell him come on"
"Yeah okay" I laughed
"Dana Whatchu got to eat in there?" Liyah asked while she walked into the house. Dana pulled the phone from her ear
"Nothin for you"
Liyah waved her off and still went in the house. Dana smacked her lips and looked at me
"Ion like your best friend"
"Cause you love her" I defended liyah and Dana rolled her eyes then crossed her feet
"What made you come out here anyways. You and Kentrell done made up and moved away now y'all don't fuck with nobody nomore"
"Shut up. You know we still love y'all. We just been getting everything ready for this baby" I rubbed my belly "cause the doctor told us he might end up coming a day or two early"
"He need to come on. I'm tired of seeing you pregnant. Yo ass been pregnant for two years straight"
"Shut up! You gone be next again"
"Hell no I ain't. This lil seed of chucky is more than enough birth control" she pointed at Kaleb who was now pushing the little bike over, knocking it on one of its training wheels
"But.." Dana started up again "I know who gone be next.... Elena"
"What make you say that?"
"That bitch out there in LA with a whole fiancé. A basketball playing fiancé! My sister might be slow at times but she ain't stupid, she gone secure that bag"
I laughed and put Kemoni down letting her walk over to where Kaleb was then headed over to the porch
"And where you going?"
"To See Whatchu got in this fridge. My fatass hungry"
Dana smacked her lips and I laughed yet again while walking into the house
