"Kemoni! Look at what grandma gotchu mamas"
I held up the Minnie Mouse toy as I sat on the floor beside her as she stood up, playing with a a toy she got for Christmas. She looked at it and smiled before dropping the toy in her hand then grabbed the one I held out for her
Everybody was pretty much doing their own little thing for most of the day for Christmas and liyah flew back home for a few days and baby joe went with her so Kentrell, the kids and I at my momma and Derek's house for Christmas this year and from the moment we got here they've been spoiling these kids with gifts
"Elll" Kaleb called out to me while he walked to where I sat, holding a paw patrol truck in his hand "look el"
"Oooh, I like that" I pretended to sound interested as I looked at the toy and he smiled then looked at Kemoni
"Moni look. Look Moni"
"Stop!" She hissed at him with her face frowned up, turning her toy away from him and I smacked my lips
"Girl my son don't want yo shit" Dana told Kemoni and Kentrell looked at Dana
"You and yo son gone get beat on if y'all keep bothering Kemoni"
"Nasir said y'all doing too much" Elena spoke out loud as she sat on the chair beside Dana holding Nasir. She turned him around to face us and he was just sitting there looking exactly like Kentrell
"Look at my little booga watching these crazy ass people" momma spoke in a baby voice as she walked over to where Elena was, bending down some towards Nasir. His mug suddenly turned into a smile while he looked at my mom, just steady cheesing
"Speaking Of little boogas, lets hope Noel ain't gotta surprise to pop out on us this year cause y'all know she get pregnant every year" Dana said with a laugh and I rolled my eyes as I opened the Minnie Mouse toy for Kemoni
"It was only twice so kiss my ass. And NO! Nasir is my LAST"
"Mhmmm" Derek muttered and I dropped my mouth open
"Derek you supposed to be on my side"
"I'm sorry Noel but... we all know"
"At lease y'all know" Kentrell smirked
"Whatever. This is it for me"
Kemoni sat down beside me on the ground and looked over at the cookies I had sitting on the other side of me, some chocolate chip ones my momma baked that was an old recipe of my grandma's
"Why you looking at my cookies girl?"
Kemoni held her hand out and gave me the cutest smile
"I hate how cute you are lil girl" I laughed while grabbing a cookie, broke it in half and gave a piece to her
"All that dang hair" momma told Kemoni as she played with her poofy puffball.
I had her hair slicked back in a puffy ponytail except for a little bit of the front. I just left that loose to give her a little curly bang.
"I might let Nasir grow his hair out too. Depends on how his daddy feels about that"
I looked at Kentrell and he was busy texting on his phone than to pay what I said any attention. Elena made a noise out of the blue as she looked up from her phone then stood up, handing Nasir to dana and looked at Kentrell as she stuck her phone in her pocket
"Kentrell let me talk to you real quick"
He sighed and stood up before softly slapping the back of my head " I'll be back"
