"Kemoni is not allowed to eat by herself again" Noel huffed while she swept the floor then emptied everything into the trash. I laughed while I leaned back on the counter and watched her
"Havin' fun?"
"NO! Not at all. You should be the one cleaning this mess up"
"Nah I'm good"
Noel sat the broom to the side while looking at me some type of way and I laughed
"Ain't nothin' funny" she started to whine so I grabbed her hands and she rolled her eyes
"Get out cha feelings"
"Stop putting me in them" she responded and I looked at her some type of way.
"I ain even bout to pay you no attention right now" I shook my head and looked past her at the tv that was playing all about the Benjamins in the living room "Whatchu know bout this movie?"
"What? You talkin like you older than me or something"
I nodded "I am"
"By what? A month"
"So"
She rolled her eyes
"Bye kentrell. Bet you in love with my young ass though"
"Just a lil bit"
"Yeah whatever"
Noel backed away and leaned back against the other counter so I just walked up to her and grabbed her face placing small kisses on her lips
"I'm surprised both of your bad ass kids sleep still" Noel said to me as she wrapped her arms around my neck and I kissed my teeth
"My kids ain bad. Well Kemoni might be cause she act like me"
"Ain no might be about that. She IS bad. And wait till Nasir starts walking and talking. That's when I'm packing my shit and I'm leaving you and these kids"
"Ass ain goin nowhere. Shut up"
"Watch me"
"Ight" I backed away from her and just looked at her "Go head. If you gone leave you might as well leave now"
"Bet" she responded as she walked off but I grabbed her and picked her up, going into the living room and threw her on the couch
"Nah let me leave" she laughed and I shook my head while hovering over her
"Shut up. You ain going nowhere" I mumbled as I leaned down to kiss her but the sound of Kemoni screaming at the top of her lungs crying caught both of our attention
"What the hell?" I questioned while Noel pushed me off of her and jumped up running to the room so I followed behind her. She turned on the light and Kemoni was sitting up on the bed with tears pouring down her face as she cried out loud
"Mamaaaa" she cried out while reaching for Noel
"What's wrong baby" noel asked as she scooped Kemoni up. She laid her head on Noel's shoulder and rubbed her eyes
"She must've had a bad dream" Noel sighed and Kemoni looked at me before reaching for me so I grabbed her and she laid her head on me
"You ight mama?"
She kept her head on my shoulder, sniffling. I walked out of the room with her while Noel turned the room light off and followed behind me
"Aye get me her cup" I instructed as I went and sat on the chair, using the remote to turn the tv on. Noel did as I said and went to the kitchen to put something to drink in it while Kemoni just held onto me tight while she looked at the tv
"Still tryina leave?" I asked Noel and she rolled her eyes while handing me Kemoni's cup
"No"
She sat on the other side of me and used her thumb to wipe Kemoni's tears while she hugged onto her cup still sniffling
"Mama you good?" I asked Kemoni then kissed her forehead. She looked up at me and put her cup in her mouth then looked back at the tv
"I'm surprised Nasir ain't woke up"
"Nah" I shook my head looking at Kemoni "that lil nigga ain waking up. Once he sleep his ass out"
Noel burst out laughing
"Don't do my baby. He be tired"
"From what? All he do is lay there and talk shit"
"Leave him alone. It's tiring being that cute"
"He only cute cause he look like me" I muttered
"So if he looked like me he wouldn't look cute?"
I shrugged and she mushed me upside the head making me laugh
"Fuck you. I'm cute"
"I mean you Ight"
"Wow" she shook her head
"You know you fine as hell"
"I know I am. And even if, we been together for almost 4 years and two kids... oh bitch you STUCK" she responded and we both laughed
