Mahira sighed seeing the light filling in the room. She looked at Piya who was still sleeping. She jumped down from the bed and made her way to window. Holding the window ledge, she leaned forward to have a view of the morning sky.

Sun rays illuminated her skin but the pain was quite visible on her face. Fresh tears that still soaked her cheeks were radiating as a diamond under sunlight.

She wanted to forget everything that happened but was it that easy? No!

She loved Armaan, yes there was some hesitation on her engagement but she really loved him. The betrayal wasn't easy to forget and the moments were there to haunt.

The beautiful moments that she spent with him felt like a nightmare suddenly.

She let out another painful sigh and closed the window. She pulled the curtains down and looked at Piya once again. She thought to let her rest knowing her state of mind.

Mahira got ready and opened the door. She was surprised to see Arav standing outside but maybe she wasn't really surprised. She expected him.

"She is sleeping." Mahira informed

Arav nodded.

"I wanted to talk to you." Arav said

"Let's go" Mahira said closing the door quietly

They walked downstairs.

.

Abhay opened his eyes and the intricate ceiling blinked at him. He was confused to find him in his room. Then he remembered what happened yesterday night and guilt returned. He moved his eyes and found his parents looking at him. He sighed and sat up.

"Are you fine, Abhay?" Haseena asked softly

Abhay smiled sadly. Fine! Can a culprit ever feel fine in his life?

"You shouldn't indulge in fight alone. Your powers are too weak for such deadly fight. You should've called us, Abhay." Haseena said worried for him

"What would've happen then? Someone else would've been hurt for me. Till when I will let others get hurt due to me?" Abhay said with far off glance

"Who were they, Abhay?" Chand asked

"Does it matter?" Abhay said getting down from bed

"You should rest Abhay." Haseena said

"There's no rest for creatures like us" Abhay said wearing his coat

"What were you saying last night?" Chand asked finally

Abhay stopped in his tracks. He remembered trying to tell them the truth that he was trying to find from that killer night. He turned back and looked at his parents.

"You never heard what I wanted to say then why suddenly my words matter to you?" Abhay asked

"Abhay..." Haseena said pained, she wasn't able to see his son in such state

"We too lost a lot that night, Abhay." Chand said

"But you never tried to know what happened that night! You never cared to know if Armaan was at fault or not instead you believe what you wanted. You never listened to him just because you lost your own and Armaan wasn't yours..." Abhay shouted, he wasn't able to stand the pain anymore, he needed to let it out but he realized soon that he had no right to blame them

"It was entirely my fault... I should've stand for him but I.... I failed him... I hurt him.... I hurt my own brother...." Abhay whispered

"It was my fault and I'll correct it too... I'll bring him back from the abyss I pushed him in..." Abhay said with determination and left immediately
