Abhay wanted to escape from everyone. He couldn't stand the occasional glares from his brother and Her sister. He was dreading scornful glares from Arav too but it seemed Arav was occupied by something he was keeping to himself. Still, he couldn't stand facing the hate or anger even if he lived his whole life bearing them and tonight he was getting the double dose with extended time.

If only he could stand and leave... If only it wasn't Piya who somewhere need him right beside him as a support....

He turned to her. She had her eyes closed and seemed exhausted. He wanted to speak to her but the hesitation and the fear of crossing the line stopped him.

"So... What are we going to do?" Arav asked breaking the ice "tomorrow is dark moon!"

"Why, we'll defeat Demonio what else?" Piya replied with closed eyes

"Touché!" Armaan intervened excitedly

Arav ignored Armaan like he didn't exist.

"Do you think we can defeat him?" Arav sounded skeptic

"Why not?" Piya retorted without looking

"Er..." Arav hesitated "the prophecy was of our parents killing him not us and they... Failed..."

"In that case, Demonio is invincible." Piya remarked baffling Arav

"What?"

Piya opened her eyes and sat straight. She looked at her brother.

"Arav, if you are going to consider the prophecy then Demonio can never die" Piya said softly "the two of saviours in prophecy are dead, remember?"

Arav became thoughtful. Piya had point. The prophecy was of eight people killing Demonio not six.

"But then what's the use of prophecy?" Mahira questioned this time

"Lies for comfort and misinterpret!" Piya answered "you cannot really count on it."

"Besides, we are individually much more powerful than our parents together are, so its not a big deal if we end up killing Demonio by the flicker of our finger." Piya smiled with a shrug

"Heroic much?" Armaan raised his eyebrow with a taunting smile

Piya waved her hand, dismissing his remark.

"If he can see us then won't he know our planning beforehand?" Arav pointed

"Didn't I tell you, he can't see us when we are with someone other than our kind. That's why his jokers stalked you in public. In tonight case, he didn't know I saved you because Abhay was with me and he is a Vampire. Besides.... This place is far from any power reach." Piya explained

"That means we can't talk about him at home?" Arav asked disappointed

Abhay narrowed his eyes observing Arav. He realised Arav wanted to tell something, something important, but was hesitant.

"No" Piya sighed "we can't risk exposure or else we'll lose Element of surprise" Piya shot a look to Armaan who raised his eyebrow and grinned

Arav grimaced looking away.

"Piya, I think you should plan everything tonight only. You can never know what may happen tomorrow." Abhay spoke to Piya, first time in front of everyone. His voice was smooth and soft. His tone surprised everyone else.

Piya looked at Abhay trying to read something in his eyes that he didn't mention in his words. She knew how uncomfortable he felt talking in front of others and if he spoke then he was conveying something discreetly.
