Peter's POV About half way into the trip Y/N managed to fall asleep and leaned her head on my shoulder. I just smiled and gently leaned my head on top of hers.
"What happened in the Washington monument Peter, you have to tell me at some point." She said looking back at us in the mirror.
"I don't exactly know, still at the hotel..... S..Sick." I said stuttering a little.
"Once Y/N wakes up I'll ask her." She said looking at Y/N.
About an hour later we arrived at the apartment. I didn't want to wake Y/N up so I decided to carefully pick her up instead. I put her down on my bed and covered her in a thin blanket, and then went to go sleep on the couch.
Y/N'S POV As soon as I wake up I realize I'm not in my bed or even in my room. Oh right I'm at Peter's until my parents get back. I quickly get up and walk out to seePeter fast asleep on the couch with a book on top of his face. I try and stifle a laugh but a little giggle slips out of my mouth and wakes him up.
"Morning." I said leaning on the his bed room door frame when he came to check-up on me. He quickly jumped and put a hand over his heart.
"Jeez! Morning." He said smiling.
"I checked your pantry and there is like nothing in there that is like breakfast worthy." I said walking into the kitchen and help up a box of corn flour and gummy bears. "How are you even alive right now." Like no offense you can't live off this stuff I said scoffing.
"Do you want to go out for breakfast?" He asked shrugging stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"Like just us?" I asked as he nodded.
"Ya just us. If that's okay?" He asked shifting uncomfortably.
"That's okay. I'll be right back." I said heading off to his room to grab my purse and jacket. As soon as I came out we headed off to the diner down the street. "You know what I just realized? We've never just hung out like just you and me. It's always been a hangout with Ned or MJ. But we've never hung out just the two of us."
"Really?" Peter asked looking at me confused.
"Ya, I guess. It's a nice change." I said smiling as we approached the deli (Delmars). Peter rushed ahead of me to open the door and then bowed like a butler, making both of us laugh.
"Hey Peter who is this your girlfriend?" 'Mr. Delmar's asked wiggling his eyebrows as both me and Peters cheeked heated up.
"No this is Y/N..." Peter stressed giving Mr Delmar a glare. "the one I told you about." HE said making me look at him.
"You've talked to him about me?" I asked looking at Peter, who looked traumatized.
"I mean just a little, but I also talk about Ned and MJ too." He said looking at the menu. "I'll have the usual."
"Um I think I'll get the number 6 and can I get it with no pickles?" I asked as Delmar nodded and got busy making the sandwiches as Peter got out his wallet. "No let me. I'm stay at your place for free." I said stopping him.
"You can buy next time." He said winking at me. I just rolled my eye and nodded.
"Here you go kids." He said handing us the sandwiches, but behind my back Mr. Delmar gave Peter a good luck wink. There was a booth near the window that we decided to sit down at.
"After this could we stop by m y place so I can grab some clothes?"I asked as he nodded.
"Sure. I'll text May." He said pulling out his phone.
Peter's POV This is it. I'm hopefully going to tell Y/N how I feel about her or at least try and hold her hand or something. As soon as I put my phone away after texting May I notice Y/N's hand was out on the table and since we were sitting across from each other..... I slowly raised my hand as put it on top of hers. I could tell it startled her because she jumped a little when it happened but she didn't pull her hand away and actually held it.

When we finished we walked over to the bus stop to go to her place, still holding hands. As soon as we got there I waited on the couch while she went to her room to get clothes.
Y/N's POV As soon as we got back to Peter's place it was around 11:30 and also a weekend so we had the whole day to ourselves. I immediately got out my phone and texted both MJ and Liz about what happened with Peter at the diner. They both got back to me within minutes.
MJ It's about time I could tell he's liked you for months. Happy for you guys though.
Liz Omg so congrats. U guys would make such a cute couple. Have fun!
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Peter asked sitting next to me on the couch.
"Sure, as long as it's not something like star wars, we've watched that almost every time I've come over." I said standing up to go find us a good movie. "Okay how about Toy Story?" I asked pulling it out of his movie shelf. He just nodded and pulled out his phone. As soon as I put it in and sat down next to him he put his arm around me and pulled me into him a little.
And let me tell you I loved every second of it!
Peter's POV I can't believe this is happening right now. I held her hand and got to snuggling up next to her in the same day.
"Y/N can I ask you a question?" I asked pausing the movie. She nodded and looked up at me. My eyes immediately looked at her lips. I slowly leaned down while she leaned up and pressed my lips against hers.
It wasn't anything fancy or long. It was just sweet and almost romantic.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Of course." She said leaning forward to kiss me again.
But right before she kissed me I remembered something...
